Chocolate Rice Pudding by Michelle Bernstein
Serves: 6-8
Ingredients
- 1-cup short grain rice
- 2 cups water
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1-tablespoon vanilla
- 1-cup heavy cream
- 1/2-cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup bittersweet chocolate, chopped fine
- 1-cup condensed milk
Directions
- Add rice, water, cinnamon sticks and vanilla to Oster® Rice Cooker. Cook until all water is absorbed. Remove cinnamon sticks. In a saucepan, add 1-cup cream, sugar, and egg. Beat well with a whisk. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens a little. Pour mixture into the rice cooker and stir to combine. Allow to come to a boil for 1 to 2 minutes. Mix in the chocolate and the condensed milk and bring to a boil again for about 2 minutes. Stir again and pour into large serving bowl.
Cool to room temperature.
Serve immediately or chill.
