Make your children nutritious after-school smoothies in your all-purpose blender. Try one of these smoothies that tastes as good as it is nutritious.

1. Berry Green Smoothie
You children might balk at a rich, earthy green smoothie that's loaded with kale and tastes like it. But don't let that stop you from sneaking a few greens into a sweeter smoothie. Here's what you'll need:

  • 1/2 cup baby spinach
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
  • 1/2 cup frozen mango pieces
  • 1 cup all-natural orange juice
  • Ice
  • Your blender.

Add all of your ingredients to your blender's jar and blend on HIGH for about 25 seconds or until completely smooth. Serve in your kids' favorite cups with a fun straw. They'll be getting all of the vitamins and minerals of the fruit and spinach, plus the fiber that they wouldn't get from juice alone.

  • 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 hearty scoop peanut butter
  • 1 drizzle honey, as desired
  • Ice.

Pour all of these ingredients into your blender jar and hit the switch. Blend on HIGH for about 30 seconds. Consider using frozen bananas or blueberries for added texture.
