Next time you're entertaining friends or just looking for a low-calorie do-it-yourself snack, try making our Tuscan Bean Spread recipe. Enjoy it with bread, crackers, pita chips, vegetables or even add a hearty scoop to a salad. The best part of this dip is that you can make it right in your Oster® Versa® Performance Blender With Food Processor. Here's what you'll need:

  • 1 teaspoon fresh, chopped rosemary
  • 1 chopped garlic clove
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt (vary as desired)
  • 15-ounce can of cannellini beans
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons grated lemon peel

Get your Oster® Versa® Performance Blender With Food Processor ready by adding the food processor attachment. Next, combine your rosemary, garlic, olive oil and salt and pulse on LOW to combine the ingredients. Rinse and drain your beans, then add them to the food processor and blend on HIGH until you have one smooth spread. Stir in your lemon peel and juice and transfer to a serving dish. This treat is ready to serve.

Cannellini beans are low in fat, but high in fiber and protein. Although this spread is tasty, it shouldn't interfere with your diet and may even enhance your workout routine.
