Dress Up Your Next Salad With a Raspberry Shallot Vinaigrette [VIDEO]

Your Oster® Vigor Blend™ 300 Blender with Reversing Blade Technology doesn't just help you eat right by whipping up delicious smoothies - you can use it to make a tasty Raspberry Shallot Vinaigrette for your next salad too. Start off by gathering your ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons raspberry preserves
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup shallots
  • 1 small garlic clove
  • A pinch of salt
  • Your Oster® blender.

Chop the shallots into coarse chunks. Next, thinly slice your garlic clove and set it to the side. Pour your olive oil, vinegar, preserves and mustard into the blender, one at a time and in order. Next, add the 1/4 cup of chopped shallots and the sliced garlic. Sprinkle in the salt, cover the blender jar and mix on HIGH until your dressing is a creamy pink. Turn off the blender and pour the Raspberry Shallot Vinaigrette into a container. Use a rubber spatula to get any vinaigrette stuck to the sides of the blender jar.

Finally, simply pour your Raspberry Shallot Vinaigrette on your salad and enjoy. Refrigerate in a resealable container for use over the next day or two.
