With summer coming to a close, it means the end of vacations, school breaks, warm weather and days at the beach. However, it doesn't have to mean the end of drinking delicious fruit smoothies. Try one of these tasty, fruit-packed smoothie options to invigorate you for the start of autumn.

1. Apple Berry Twist
Apples may be a staple of the fall, but they still have that sweet, refreshing flavor that's perfect in a summer smoothie. Try this apple-filled smoothie option that can help you make the transition from one season to the next. Here's what you'll need:

Start by preparing your fruit and ingredients. Next, add the fruit, juice, yogurt and honey to your blender jar and blend on HIGH. Pour into a tall glass. Feel free to garnish with a festive wedge of apple to impress your end of summer guests.

2. Tropical Green Smoothie
Just because the summer is coming to end, it doesn't mean that some places in the world aren't still sunny, warm and perfect for beach-going. Remind yourself of this fact by enjoying a tropical fruit-filled smoothie that packs the nutrients of leafy greens. Gather these ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped mango
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 cup kale
  • 1/2 cup spinach
  • 1 splash lime juice
  • 1 1/2 cup coconut water or milk
  • Ice.

Combine all of the ingredients in your performance blender and blend on HIGH. Blend until your mixture is thin and easily drinkable. Then just pour and enjoy.

"Freeze fresh fruit for a different texture."

While this smoothie works great with fresh-cut fruit, it can be even better if you freeze your fruits first. Simply cut mango and pineapple a few days before you want the smoothie, then store your cut fruit in vacuum-sealed freezer containers. By freezing these tropical fruits, you can add an extra layer of texture to this tasty drink.

3. Melon Madness
Melons are a summertime staple, so make sure you enjoy these juicy fruits one last time before the autumnal equinox. Here's what you'll need for the optimal melon smoothie:

  • 1 1/2 cups chopped watermelon, seedless
  • 1/2 cup honeydew melon
  • 1/2 cup cantaloupe
  • 1/2 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • Ice.

Simply combine these ingredients in your blender. Blend on HIGH for about 20 seconds and you'll have the perfect smoothie. Add more yogurt for a thicker, creamier taste.
