There's no limit to the flavor combinations you can create! And whether you want to make a small batch of salsa to top tacos and burritos or a bowl to serve party guests, the Oster Pro™ 1200 Plus can help you make it fresh in no time.

By making your salsa at home, you can enjoy fresh, homemade flavor with no additives or artificial ingredients. Many store-bought salsas are high in sodium, but by making them from scratch you can reduce the amount of salt.

Get started with these easy recipes for making fresh salsa in your food processor.

1. Salsa Verde
Vibrant green salsa verde uses tomatillos, which gives this salsa a slightly sweet and milder flavor. It pairs nicely with tortilla chips as a snack or appetizer, or top off grilled flank steak to turn up the flavor for a dinner entrée.

  • 6 tomatillos, husks removed and rinsed
  • 1/2 jalapeno pepper, stem and seeds removed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/2 onion, roughly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt.

Fasten the food processor attachment to the base of the Oster Pro™ 1200 blender. Add all the ingredients to the food processor and pulse on high for 3-4 minutes. If needed, pulse for an additional minute until the salsa is finely chopped.

2. Peach Salsa
Pineapple salsa is one of the most popular types of fruity salsa, but why not give peach a try? It's a contrast in tastes - sweet and spicy and tender and crisp, with deliciousness in every bite. Peach salsa is great for bringing to barbecues, to serve with skewered chicken and shrimp as well as fish tacos.

  • 4 peaches, pitted, peeled and sliced
  • 1 orange bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small red onion, roughly chopped
  • 1/2 cup cilantro, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt.

After securing the food processor attachment to the base of the Oster Pro™ 1200, add all ingredients to the bowl. Combine on high speed until evenly diced, about 3-4 minutes.

3. Strawberry Salsa
Fresh strawberries make for an even more unexpected fruit salsa, and the results are undeniably delicious. This unique salsa pairs strawberries with basil for a light and refreshing taste sensation.

  • 1 pound strawberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 red onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper.

Secure the food processor attachment to the base of the Oster Pro™ 1200 and all ingredients to the bowl. Pulse on high speed until fully combined, about 2-3 minutes.
