Do you love to prepare tasty meals and treats for your family, but are looking for a way to save time? Blender batters are the solution. All you have to do is add ingredients to your Oster® Classic Series Kitchen Center Blender and then press the button to create perfect batters every time.

Here are four easy blender batters to get started with:

1. Banana Muffins Blender Batter
A warm basket of freshly made banana muffins gets your morning started on the right foot. Skip a boxed muffin mix and instead make the batter from scratch - just mix the ingredients in your blender, spoon the batter into a prepared muffin tin and bake.

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced in half
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups oats
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Directions
Add all ingredients to the Oster® Classic Series Kitchen Center Blender and blend on high until batter is smooth, about 3-4 minutes. Line a muffin tin with muffin cups, and then pour the batter into each cup, filling three-quarters of the way. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean. Let cool slightly before serving.

2. Pancake Blender Batter
Your blender can also make preparing fluffy pancakes for breakfast even easier. This recipe uses coconut oil instead of vegetable and swaps flour for oats to make a lighter version of the morning favorite.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 egg
  • Dash salt
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Directions
Add all ingredients to your Oster® Classic Series Kitchen Center Blender and blend on high until batter is smooth, about 3-4 minutes. Pour batter onto prepared griddle to cook; serve with syrup or fruit.

3. Cornbread Blender Batter
Cornbread is a delicious side to a variety of meals, like barbecue dishes, meatloaf or soup. Making it from scratch gives it a hearty, home-style flavor, and you can save time by mixing the batter in your blender. Another pro tip: Use buttermilk instead of regular dairy milk for even richer-tasting cornbread.

Ingredients:

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups buttermilk milk
  • 1 1/4 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions
Add all ingredients to the Oster® Classic Series Kitchen Center Blender and blend on high until batter is smooth, about 2-3 minutes. Grease a baking dish, and then pour in the batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cornbread comes out clean. Let cool slightly before serving.

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
