Rated 1 out of 5 by gray from DESIGN PROBLEM We live in Central America and paid a little more $$, than suggested price... We have the same problems as previously noted herein; but, in examining the operation of the cutting blade and the drive wheel, the problem is in aligning the can properly to start cutting... The opener needs another "guide" pin, to the right of the drive gear... That will permit the can to be properly positioned and leveraged into the drive wheel... If the can is leveraged into the drive wheel properly, then the cutter will enter the can and the "auto" process will start... Until I "fix" this problem, my wife will NOT USE THIS PRODUCT...

Rated 1 out of 5 by Scot from Does not work! We bought this can opener thinking it would a great replacement for our old one. Needless to say, it is worse than the one we replaced. It is very difficult to get a can to stay on the cutting wheel without restarting it several times and punching several holes in the tops of cans before it finally grabs hold. It is also extremely noisy to use. We paid good money for this item and for it not to work was a waste of our money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Cathy from Hardly works! I have the same issues as the previous poster! I have a hard time getting the can to properly latch on and puncture! What a piece of junk!

Rated 1 out of 5 by ChocolateMoosie from Will Not Open Can I bought this can opener and kept it hoping it would start working better, but it never did. It will only open a can after you remove the paper from the can and often, it still takes a lot of work to get the can to open. I wish I would have kept my 30 year old can opener because it worked better than this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JoeL from Real Junk This is one of the most poorly designed can openers on the market. In brief, it does not work. The can constantly slides off the roller gear and has to be re-inserted. I tried it on several can of different products. I totally agree with all the other reviewers. Do not buy this piece of junk!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Pam49057 from Bad choice! I bought this can opener and within 2-3 months it started making a lot of loud noises and did not open cans smoothly. I was dumb enough to buy another and the same thing happened again, only that one only opened maybe 10 cans. I will NOT be buying this one again!!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by MrsP from Buyer Beware! I bought this because of the retractable cord and tall can features. Three months later, I am deeply regretting this buy. Hard to get the handle to pierce the can for opening. Now it makes this horrid loud noise while opening cans.
