Bought this to replace a Presto Telfon skilletWell, the Presto Telfon skillet my family owned started flaking. I have a great grand child I am responsible for so feeding him food from that skillet was a no go. I wanted a 16X12 skillet where I could cook eggs and bacon at mostly the same time. I saw this at Walmart and said Hey! Nirvana! Buzz! Wrong.
The skillet does not heat evenly. This causes the person using the utensil to have to remember the hot and cold zones of the skillet. If my grand daughter is the chef du jour and uses this utensil that means BURNT FOOD.
I paid a lot of social security money for this so now I am stuck with a literal piece of junk.
Either I get a skillet that works properly or I want a complete refund for the piece of junk that I currently own.

Heats unevenlyWe have tried using this recently for several different dishes. Each time it heats much higher than the desired temperature and burns food then shuts down and repeats the cycle. Very disappointed. We have burned/ruined several dishes in the last week. Bought this as a replacement of our old oster skillet that worked so much better.

PAN ALREADY STICKING 2 MONTHS OLDThis was a replacement pan, sent 2 months ago, used 3-4 times a week. Heat never used above 325 because pan gets too hot. First couple weeks great, but then noticed that infamous dark ring forming in pan. Sticking began 6 weeks into use, now all items are sticking, especially eggs. Not happy or impressed.

Good value and performanceI bought mine from Publishers Clearing House. It wasn't to enter their contest. It was because I needed something like this. I don't have a working stove because the one I got with my house is gas and I don't use gas, and rely on small appliances to do my cooking. I have devices that work, but are timed in a maddening way such that food doesn't get completely done for an hour as I wait for the timer to allow me to get heat again. This skillet allows me to cook a complete breakfast in 10 minutes. I read reviews that seem to indicate that I should treat it with great care, so I let it cook down and wipe it clean with moist towels. I had been using a microwave for a lot of jobs before, but wondered whether I'd keep better flavor and texture with a skillet, and now I see that it was worth it to use this device. I also used it to reduce tomatoes over low heat to make sauce. I also made a one-skillet recipe with ground beef, tomatoes, seasonings, onions, garlic, peppers, and rice. I ordered cook books to get more ideas. I can hardly wait!
