Rated 1 out of 5 by Nicolarenee from Wish it was better I purchased this item about 45 days ago. I loved it until this week. After cooking stir fry veggies, I noticed the Teflon peeled off the middle. Unfortunately I had throw away dinner that night and cook something else. I am so disappointed. I love all my other Oster products. I have seen that this is a common problem. I REALLY hope they have a fix for it because the removable pan is a great asset. I hoped to replace the pan but it looks like it's not possible. BUMMER

Rated 5 out of 5 by den60 from Love this skillet! I recieved this skillet for xmas and after reading all reviews I almost took it back. I very glad I did not.. Yes this pan has some cold spots but every large skillet I ever owned had cold spots. It would be nice if they fixed this problem. You have to move your food around. Pan gets hot like it should. Nothing sticks and clean up is so easy! So far loving this skillet!! Dont be afraid to buy one!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Unfortunate from Poor design. Extremely low heat, unable to cook bacon in a reasonable time. The surface is rounded which makes the grease uneven causing the stuff in the center to burn. Uneven heating elements also make cooking difficult. the removable skillet part is nice though. Wish I would have read the reviews prior to buying.

Rated 1 out of 5 by MARLENE from OSTER FRY PAN/TEFLON COATED. We purchased this in the spring from Target. It is the one with teflon coated and a glass top. I wrote to you after we had tried to use it a few times, but the controler didn't work properly. Also, it burns the meat and whatever I cook in it. It sticks and last night it ruined our dinner.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Gail from Worst frying pan I ever had. Glass lid gets so hot you cannot touch it. Have to put the temp up high to get it to cook. When the lid is on, water comes out all over my counter. Hate it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by mad at Oster from Warning Oster Electric Skillet !! I bought the Oster removable electric skillet a few months ago.I thought I would spend a little more money and buy the best one they had.Well I guess I was wrong on that one. With in a couple 3 or 4 times using it I noticed that the removable skillet warped in the center "raised" making the skillet wobble front to back "see pictures" And maybe after 6 or 7 time the teflon started to flake off and bubble " see Pictures" And the sad part is everything I cooked was at 350* or lower temp.I always used wood or plastic cooking tools ,never let food set in the skillet and only soak and washed by "hand" after every use.If you ask me they are poor quality to save money but they are not afraid to ask for money when it comes time to buy one from them !!
