Rated 1 out of 5 by cclark from Horrible! Perfer to give no stars! I have a Rival electric skillet that finally quit working after 13 years. So to make a family favorite, smothered pork chops, I bot this skillet for it's depth, size and removable skillet. Let me say this I do love the size, depth and the removable skillet option; however, this skillet's heating function is so inadequate for cooking that it is shameful. Oh 400 28 mins. to fry 6 porkchops (small boneless chops) and they never browned, I actually had to brown them and cook the remaining chops in my cast iron skillet. But wanting to hold out hope for this product, I tried to make the gravy, it took 20 minutes to make gravy on 400. This absolutely is a return!

Rated 1 out of 5 by mad at Oster from Warning Oster Electric Skillet !! I bought the Oster removable electric skillet a few months ago.I thought I would spend a little more money and buy the best one they had.Well I guess I was wrong on that one. With in a couple 3 or 4 times using it I noticed that the removable skillet warped in the center "raised" making the skillet wobble front to back "see pictures" And maybe after 6 or 7 time the teflon started to flake off and bubble " see Pictures" And the sad part is everything I cooked was at 350* or lower temp.I always used wood or plastic cooking tools ,never let food set in the skillet and only soak and washed by "hand" after every use.If you ask me they are poor quality to save money but they are not afraid to ask for money when it comes time to buy one from them !!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mustang94 from Junk First time we used it we tried to cook about 8 bratwurst, after 45 minutes we turned off the pad and used a real skillet on the stove top. It wasn't any where hot enough to cook or even brown them. The controls say 400 degrees but I have a laser thermal gun and half way through cooking the pan turned up on max was only 178 degrees. The next morning thought I would give it one more try to cook eggs, sausage and hash browns. What a joke again..... After most of the other reviews I have read this peace of junk should be taken off the market. I will be returning it today for another brand and will NEVER buy another Oster again.... Oh and gave it a one star rating because I could give it a ZERO...

Rated 1 out of 5 by Tovah from A huge disapointment I bought this last year 11/5/15 @ Ginny's, paid $89.95, because I wanted quality and was willing to pay a little extra, Then this year in April it started to blister, and the blisters started to flake off, and the pan started to wobble, and it could not brown my chicken, but would stick instead, I had to soak, and hand wash with a sponge to remove the stuck on meat, also the numbers on the dial wiped off during the cleaning process, with just plain tap water on a paper towel. I did not include a photo, as I do not have a camera. I am extremely disappointed, I have always believed Oster to be of very high standards.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jacks11 from Piece of junk!!! I bought this skillet today, new and it will not heat to 400! You can't brown anything. It's a very neat concept but terrible craftsmanship. I expected more from Oster.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Nicolarenee from Wish it was better I purchased this item about 45 days ago. I loved it until this week. After cooking stir fry veggies, I noticed the Teflon peeled off the middle. Unfortunately I had throw away dinner that night and cook something else. I am so disappointed. I love all my other Oster products. I have seen that this is a common problem. I REALLY hope they have a fix for it because the removable pan is a great asset. I hoped to replace the pan but it looks like it's not possible. BUMMER
