Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than KitchenAid Couple years ago broke down and bought KitchenAid. Missed the nice peaks and mixing power beaters give you for meringues and mashed potatoes and whipped cream you just can't get with the single blade mixer. Decided to get a beater mixer again and this is one of the best. There is a slight delay when you turn it up or down as the motor seems to be computer controlled but it is very smooth and powerful and does everything and more that my old KitchenAid could not do without beaters (better peaks and whipping with the Oster Beaters) Going to stick with beater mixers and never look back - this is a great one for the money.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very disappointed I suffer from chronic pain and I have always wanted a Big Stand Mixer to ease the pressure on my hands. I thought Oster was a good brand name and purchased this one and was so excited! However, second time I used it the welded part of one of the beaters broke. Some one welded it for me and I was good to go. A few days ago, making cookies, (thick batter) That weld let go, plus another on the same beater. I ordered new ones, put them in, turned it on to mix my batter and although the motor was running, the beaters weren't turning. So I sit here with a useless Mixer. I am so very disappointed in this mixer.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work well at all I brought this mixer a little over a year ago. I became ill and wasn't able to use it so it just sat on my counter. My health is better and I was very anxious to use it so this past weekend I made cookies with my granddaughter and it did not do very well. I have two sticks of butter to cream with brown sugar. I had to keep trying to get the ingredients into the mixer blades. Even when I put n the eggs and over three cups of flour it would not work correctly. I was super disappointed!!!! Maybe if a smaller bowl was available it might work better? I had wanted a nice mixer for a long time and I am Very disappointed in this product!!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It's Not A High-End Machine......BUT...... I've had this mixer for a few years now and I can say it has performed perfectly! I "mainly" use this mixer for cheesecakes (the recipe calls for 5 8-oz. blocks of cream cheese!) and I've never had a problem..... I wish there was a bigger bowl and a whisk attachment, but I'm happy with what I have.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice mixer but the turntable failed The die cast housing appear robust but the turntable supporting the bowl is all plastic and definitely is not durable. We have used it about 30 times for cake batter and its turntable just failed. It is now jerky and noisy while rotating and gets much worse at higher speeds.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do not use to mix any thing other than cake batter I bought this mixer to make candy and cakes for the holidays. After making four batches of divinity the internal gears stripped.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Performance It performs well however on a dough of more than 1 kg of flour it will struggle to stay in place
