GREEN LIGHT SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup green grapes
  • 1/2 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 2 cups lightly packed spinach
  • 1/2 medium ripe banana, peeled
  • 1/2 Granny Smith apple, cored and sliced
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1/2 cup cold water
DIRECTIONS:

COMBINE all ingredients in order listed in Oster® Pre-Programmed Blender with Reversing Blade Technology.

SELECT pre-programmed Frozen Drinks & Shakes setting (or, BLEND on medium for 10 seconds then on high for 20 seconds).

SERVE immediately.

PEAR AND PINEAPPLE GREEN SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
  • 1 medium ripe Bartlett pear, quartered and cored
  • 1 cup lightly packed torn kale (stems removed)
  • 1 cup lightly packed spinach
  • 1 small ripe banana, peeled and halved
  • 1/2 cup orange or apple juice
  • 1 cup ice
DIRECTIONS:

COMBINE all ingredients in order listed in Oster® Pre-Programmed Blender with Reversing Blade Technology.

SELECT pre-programmed Frozen Drinks setting (or, BLEND on medium for 10 seconds then on high for 20 seconds).

SERVE immediately.

PROTEIN ENERGY SHAKE

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup plain soymilk
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/4 cups vanilla soy yogurt
DIRECTIONS:

Pour milk and honey into My Blend® sport bottle. Add walnuts, cinnamon and yogurt. Fasten the blade assembly on the open end of the sport bottle. Turn the sport bottle upside down and place it in the base, lining up the arrows on the blade assembly with the arrows on the base.

Press the sport bottle down in the base or turn the sport bottle clockwise to lock it for hands-free operation. Blend 20 to 30 seconds or until smooth. Turn the sport bottle over and place on a flat surface. Replace the blade assembly with the drinking lid.

Makes 1 serving (18 oz)

SUPER SMOOTHIE - ENERGY EXPLOSION

INGREDIENTS:
  • JUICE:
  • 2 medium celery stalks
  • 1 medium Granny Smith apple*
  • 1 1/2 cubed pineapple
  • Note:
  • *Replace with 1 cup cranberries when they are in season if desired
  • BLEND with:
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • Juice of 1 lemon (about 2 tbsp)
  • Boost if desired:
  • 1-2 tsp Chia or Flax seeds
DIRECTIONS:

Cut the celery, apple and pineapple into pieces that will fit into the food chute of the juice extractor. Process through the juice extractor. Pour the juice into the blender jar. Add the remaining ingredients. Attach the blade assembly to the jar.

Remove the stainless steel filter and the filter basket from the processor. Invert the blender jar onto the power base of the processor. Turn the dial on the appliance to "I" blend the mixture until smooth.

Remove the blender jar from the blade assembly. Attach the drinking lid or serve in a glass.

If desired, garnish with a wedge of pineapple.

HEALTH BOOSTER - GREEN APPLE REFRESHER

  • 1 Granny Smith apple, cut into pieces
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 pear
  • 1 cup firmly packed spinach leaves
  • BLEND with:
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • Juice of 1 lime (about 2 tbsp)
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Boost if desired:
  • 1-2 tsp Chia or Flax seeds
DIRECTIONS:

Cut the fruit into pieces that will fit into the food chute of the juice extractor. Process through the juice extractor. Pour the juice into the blender jar. Add the remaining ingredients. Attach the blade assembly to the jar.

Remove the stainless steel filter and the filter basket from the processor. Invert the blender jar onto the power base of the processor. Tum the dial on the appliance to "I" and blend the mixture until smooth.

Remove the blender jar from the blade assembly. Attach the drinking lid or serve in a glass.

If desired, garnish with a strawberry.

DETOX - GINGERED SUPER GREENS

  • 2 cups firmly packed spinach leaves
  • 1 cup firmly packed arugula leaves
  • 1 medium red delicious apple, cut into wedges
  • 1/2 firmly packed watercress leaves
  • 1 lemon cut in half, peel and pith removed
  • 1-inch piece fresh ginger
  • BLEND with:
  • 1 cup cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • Boost if desired:
  • 1-2 tsp Chia or Flax seeds
DIRECTIONS:

Process the spinach, arugula, apple, watercress, lemon and ginger through the juice extractor. Pour the juice into the blender jar. Add the remaining ingredients. Attach the blade assembly to the jar.

Remove the stainless steel filter and the filter basket from the processor. Invert the blender jar onto the power base of the processor. Turn the dial on the appliance to "I" and blend the mixture until smooth.

Remove the blender jar from the blade assembly. Attach the drinking lid or serve in a glass.

If desired, garnish with a lemon wedge.
