Rated 1 out of 5 by Teadrinker from Lid Broke in 8 months, No replacement available The kettle and matching toaster I purchased are beautiful and they do their job. My kettle lid broke recently (within the first 8mos). It is attached using only a small screw into plastic - so not the greatest quality. It pulled apart in my hand. Oster customer service is very slow to respond. They don't have any equivalent replacements available despite this kettle being listed on their website and still available at other retailers. In my opinion, I'd purchase from another manufacturer entirely. See photo of broken lid.
