Rated 1 out of 5 by from Charger went out again just after one year wareant I love the ease of the Oster wine opener especially since I suffer from carpal tunnel. I had bought an opener in 2011 and it stopped charging just after the one year warranty. I decided to give it another try last year and I shouldn’t have been surprised by the fact that the same thing happened with the second one. Almost one year to the day the base charges but the opener won’t charge at all. So frustrating!!! I won’t make the same mistake by trusting the Oster product again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great until it Was NOT!!! We have loved this and it was great until it was not. We have had this just over a year or so and then it gradually began not charging completely and totally stopping in the process of removing a cork. Not sure what to do now. As I said we have really enjoyed this. And would like to replace it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from What was Blue is now Red I have had this Oster Silver Electric Wine Opener for less than a year. I loved it. After using it, I would put it back on the charger and the light was blue. Now, it just stays red. No instructions as to what that means. I would really like a replacement as I really like this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hall of Fame! This opener was a gift from our kids. My wife has abused this opener for the last 8 years!! It is a struggle to open a bottle now due to the numerous bottles it has opened over the past years. Every time we hear the cork pop now we just smile and laugh thinking we got one more out of it. Truly an awesome product and when we have to retire this opener we will definitely buy another Oster!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works Great. Over 200 bottles opened. But..... This thing has been a tank. Have opened well over 200 bottles of wine with it. My wife loves it as she always had problems with traditional cork screws. Just yesterday the button broke. The unit still works but one of the retaining pegs that hold the button in place broke off. Hopefully if someone from Oster reads this they will tell me how I can get a replacement button/switch.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Below Expectations This wine opener was a Xmas present last year. Initially it worked fairly well, but not like instructions indicated. It now has reached a point where it has difficulty in holding a charge and removing the pulled cork has been problematic. Now it just stays on charge for far longer than indicated in instruction book which is limited in value aas to using it.
