Please follow these steps to safely remove the cork: 1. Turn Off the Opener Ensure the wine opener is turned off before attempting to handle the cork manually. 2. Try Gently Pulling the Cork Hold the wine opener firmly with one hand. With your other hand, gently tug on the cork to see if you can remove it from the corkscrew. If it's tightly stuck, be careful not to apply excessive force, as this might damage the corkscrew. 3. Use the Reversal Function If the cork doesn&rsquo;t come out manually, turn the opener back on and press the reverse button to reverse the corkscrew. This should help to loosen and release the cork from the screw. Allow the corkscrew to move in the opposite direction and try again. My charging light is on with the charging port but my light on top of the wine opener is no on. I don&rsquo;t know if the wine opener is fully charged. Is there something that indicates it&rsquo;s fully charged or is it a guessing game?

Hello. Thank you for reaching out to us. To remove the cork, simply depress the upper part of the switch. The spiral will turn in a counterclockwise direction and release the cork. It has been noted that the Electric Wine Opener may experience problems with a small percentage of plastic/ synthetic corks and undersized corks, if in this case the cork should be removed manually.
