Rated 1 out of 5 by from FAILURE of Two Wine Openers Within 6 Months of Use Corkscrew and cork stuck up inside the opener and will not descend. This is the SECOND Oster wine opener this has happened to me within 6 months of each purchase. I see other posts listed here that have had the same problem. WARNING: Oster Warranty policy DOES NOT stand behind any replacement appliance they ship to you as a result of an appliance failure. If the NEW REPLACEMENT fails, the customer is left out in the cold.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cheaply built product The recharging Batteries were cheap and did not last long, lost power after a few charges. The plastic ring that cuts the foil on top of the bottles broke after a few uses, chip plastic. I tried to replace the batteries and could not because they were soldered directly to the motor. Shame on Oster for such bad product. Why not make the product so the customer can easily replace the batteries??

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love mine! So interesting. The reviews are at both ends of the spectrum. I received mine – solo (no accessories) – back in 2015. has performed well consistently since then! No complaints or suggestions whatsoever. Not sure what the secret sauce is, but I love mine. Thinking about gifting it as a wedding present, but reading the reviews at the lower end of the spectrum is concerning.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks beautiful and holds a charge. I received the 8207 as a gift. I’d love to get the aerator and stopper to add to it. We are enjoying the wine opener. It even worked after put it back in box for 2 days. When we got home, wee took it out of box to charge it but thought we’d give it a try to open a bottle first and it did! Can I purchase the stopper and aerator separately?

Bought this for my mother, and it was great but stopped working after a few years - when I asked about possibilities for repair, or a new battery, I was told that nothing is possible. I'm shocked that Oster makes products meant to be thrown away after a few years. This cannot be acceptable! Really so disappointed, and expected better.

It latest 9 years, I replaced it with a new one 6 months ago. Although I’m sure this one won’t have to work as hard as the first, it’s working great so far. Thanks for making such a great reliable product.
