Rated 3 out of 5 by from Bring back the old food processor attachment. We got this as a wedding present almost 15 years ago. I love this blender and the original attachments. Unfortunately I accidentally submerged the base of the food processor attachment too many times and it broke. I absolutely hate the new replacement part. The shape is fine for liquid based items but is not well designed for a thicker consistency, like making hummus or pureeing fruits and vegetables. You can just use the blender for the more liquid items so I don't understand why the changed the design. Also the plastic they replaced it with is much thinner and the top part that latches together already broke after only a few uses. I would give it 5 stars if they brought back the old design.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Loud! I bought this through Amazon, and wound up returning it. I am replacing a 35 year old Osterizer 352-611 which I purchased at the Oregon State Fair in 1880 for about $100. When I put them side by side, my old 600 watt blender on HIGH is quieter than this model on the LOWEST setting. Honestly, I have no idea about performance on this model, as it was so noisy we never tried it with food.....I love Oster though. My old Osterizer has been a wonderful machine. Sure, with the narrow base, crushed ice can get stuck or not blend upwards - but it is a reliable and wonderful machine. Unsure what to do now....

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Plastic poor quality I bought this blender 3 years ago, but I started using it 2 years ago. You can see in my pictures, my blender looks like new. I am very careful with all my stuff at home. I was so excited to use in my first new home. It was working excellent!! I don’t use my blender so much. Just for smoothies, but last week the part on top of the blender is broken, and it fell apart. I realized that part is plastic. What can I say...I am really dissapointed. Do you fix this or have this part available to buy because I don’t see it in your website. I don’t know if I would buy the same brand again. So sad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Oster Kitchen Center I bought my Oster Kitchen Centre from Sears in 1979, it was one of the must have appliances for my kitchen when we bought our first home. This is 2014 and the kitchen center is still going strong. I dread the day I may have to replace it, it's become a very dependable appliance.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2004-2005 model All the reviews here are for much older models made when quality counted for something. From the beginning my blender made a loud metal grinding sound. I need new blade cause the center part is rusty.. Wish I still had my 1979/1980 model. I like the attachments, just wish it was as sturdy as my old one that ended up at Goodwill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my old, gold Kitchen Center I've had mine since 1979, a gift from my wonderful mother. I have used it and used it and used it. The mixer head is starting to make a screeching noise when I use the grinder or the power puree attachment, and hallelujah, I found a place that will rebuild it for me. I plan to include it in my will, because all four of my kids think it's a miracle appliance.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Vibrates all around counter Too noisy, and need to hold down or it moves all around counter. Bottom is plastic, made to look like metal chrome. I like the glass jar, and the fact that it is dishwasher safe.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy 50th. (coming soon)! I am the proud owner of an Oster Blender which was given to me over 49 years ago as a bridal shower gift. In the course of almost 49 years of marriage I have moved over 15 times so the blender has not been pampered. It is an amazing product and is still going strong!
