Rated 1 out of 5 by MelodyinNJ from Lid broke. Twice. I had a version of this from 2001 when I got married. When it finally died 22 years later, I wanted the same thing and purchased this product. The first time my husband used it, the lid to the food processor broke. I thought he was being rough. Returned and got a new one. I have babied this one for almost a year, and despite my delicate handling, the lid to the food processor broke. The little clips that hold it on just aren’t strong enough. Currently attempting to superglue it as seen in the photo. My husband tried to get me a ninja, but it was too big. I want my old Oster 2-in-1 back! The body of this one also feels cheaper than the old one. It’s true when they say they don’t make things like they used to.

Like everyone on this review site, the lid on my food processor is really cheaply made. The first time I tried to use it, the slotted tab on the lid (that fits around the tab on the bowl) broke off. I had to manually hold the lid in place while I pulsed the motor, I tried to use this site to order a replacement lid, but had no luck entering the model #. This is totally unacceptable from a well-known company like Oster

I have tried to go on the website and call the 800 number. I'm reaching a dead end. I don't think I should have to jump through a million hoops just to get a replacement part that has broken through no fault of mine.
