(Excludes My Blend and Versa which are made in China) We manufacture our motors and assemble our blenders in our facility in Acu&ntilde;a, Mexico. Handle carefully, then release the blade from the bottom of the jar by turning the threaded jar bottom counterclockwise. The jar lid, filler cap, and blade are dishwasher-safe. Use the top rack of the dishwasher for the jar lid, filler cap, and blade. Place the sealing ring in the dishwasher's bottom basket. We hope this information is useful. To remedy this issue, check if there is no physical damage on its cord and if there's none, try unplugging the unit and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. Plug the unit into a different wall outlet and see if it will work. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips, and power converters or inverters as it may affect the blender's performance. Can you confirm the part numbers for the glass jar and the blade attachment that goes in the bottom. Everything I am finding looks too narrow at the bottom.
