Care & Maintenance
All parts except for the blender base are dishwasher safe. Place sealing ring in bottom basket of dishwasher.
Use a damp, soft sponge with mild detergent to clean the outside of the blender base.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hazardous. I purchased 2016. The blade snapped. I didn't know until I drank the shake and luckily felt it in my mouth. Actually, I felt two pieces of the blade. So Oster replaced it. This has happened again today. Ever since the first blade snapping into my drink, I always check the blade before I drink. I have used Oster blenders for 25 years. We had Oster blenders (simpler versions) at my company 4 at any given time were in constant use by over 50 employees. They went on the road for trainings. NEVER HAS THIS HAPPENED. TWICE the blade snapped with the Pro 1200. Last time Oster deleted my review. If this happens again, I will question their commitment to transparency

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid blender, convenient food processor. But... I actually really like this unit, like, a lot. We use it a ton as it conveniently acts as both blender and food processor. Sadly the food processor portion has not held up to normal use though with the center shaft a bit wonky and now the cover plastic broke at one of the secure points. If there is a replacement available for the food processor assembly, I'd be down to keep using this beast, please let me know if that's possible. I couldn't find one easily with your usual partners and can't find a simple parts list to search for it specifically.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Can't reach customer service Great blender, BUT my food processor food processor is faulty. The first time I used it to grate some cheddar, the attachment that holds the blade MELTED. I'm one of those rare people that actually reads the instructions and warning, tips and hints, thoroughly BEFORE using. I was using it on pulse, and tapping a little at a time, as instructed. The instructions say NOT to use high on that part of the unit. So now I have a melted attachment piece and can't use the blade for shredding or slicing. I'm complaining here because the site to do so is unavailable. I can't even ORDER the part, much less get a replacement. Poor customer service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing blender and even better customer service This blender is amazing, the 3 programmed blending speeds are perfect for frozen smoothies. it never gets stuck or puts too much load on the motor. even better is the WARRANTY!! The metaal post that connects to the blade came undone one day and i emailed customer service. the parts to repair were backordered, so they sent me a replacement blender the next day. Buying Oster is worth it!!

Does anyone know how to remove the food processor base from the jar? They both were attached when they were shipped so I have no idea how to remove it from the plastic jar. It shows the locking position, but I tried to rotate to the other direction, but nothing moves. I need to clean after every use. Help me!!!!

Do you save the box after 2 weeks? exactly... I will lake to buy the replacement any recommendations how?
