This Oster&reg; Blender is made in North America, and backed by the superior quality and power of an All-Metal Drive. Because the two pieces that connect are metal (instead of plastic), you get a more durable and longer-lasting blender that will function flawlessly, party after party, year after year. (Excludes My Blend and Versa which are made in China) We manufacture our motors and assemble our blenders in our facility in Acu&ntilde;a, Mexico. Handle carefully, then release the blade from the bottom of the jar by turning the threaded jar bottom counterclockwise. The jar lid, filler cap, and blade are dishwasher-safe. Use the top rack of the dishwasher for the jar lid, filler cap, and blade. Place the sealing ring in the dishwasher's bottom basket. We hope this information is useful. If your blender is not turning on, it might be because the unit is not getting enough power from the wall outlet where it is currently plugged in or the wall outlet itself is a non-working outlet. To remedy this issue, check if there is no physical damage on its cord and if there's none, try unplugging the unit and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. Plug the unit into a different wall outlet and see if it will work. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips, and power converters or inverters as it may affect the blender's performance. Your Oster&reg; Pro 1200 Blender has a 3-year limited warranty.
