We will be more than happy to assist you.&#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;To properly place the jar into the base, please follow the steps below.&#13;&#10;- Place the jar assembly onto the base.&#13;&#10;- Line up tabs of the jar with tabs on the blender base. Make sure the tab of the jar on the left side is in the back of the tab of the blender base and the tab of the jar on the right side is in front of the tab of the blender base. Make sure the jar is seated into position. &#13;&#10;&#13;&#10;There is no need for it to be in a locked position since the steps provided will already work. Hope it helps.
