I have Oster 1200 Blender, work as good as date one. I came back Iraq 2005-2010, the glass container broken. I replaced it with replacement part at Amazon. Now am going to little 6 oz container. Does it works with this 1200 series?

the description says all parts dishwasher safe except for base BUT the bottom of the food processor cup says do not immerse in water! I have water that got inside the area and the base is not removable. Can I not wash it normally?
