Made very well and is a work horse of a blender!
I have had this blender for over two years now and crush ice for drinks, make smoothies out of frozen fruit and skim milk (love them). The product stands up to time and has many features as far as settings for blending for salsa, pancake mix, drinks, ice coffee and much much more! This price is great compared to all the other name brand blenders out there and it proves to be a keeper. Also the color is beautiful as it tends to look like a pearl/metallic burgundy and not red. I love my Oster Rapid Blend 300/700 watt 8-Speed Blender very easy to clean and parts hold up too.

Multi Purpose features, so easy to use
I've had this food processor/blender a few months now and have been wondering how I ever was able to prepare food without it before. I'm so glad to have purchased it to make better use of my time in the kitchen. It's just so handy to make hummus, chicken salad without huge chunks of chicken/celery/whatever else you put in it, and whatever else I can dream up to use it.

Was a great blender but didn't last :(
I bought this blender a year ago and it was working well, felt excited to finally have a good quality blender! In the last month or so it's basically stopped chopping/blending/pureeing/mixing our smoothies! So frustrating, it takes forever! It's like the blades just went dull or something. The motor seems to be fine so I'm not sure what's wrong! Hoping I don't have to replace The whole thing. My old Hamilton Beach blender lasted 15 years before it died!

Started smoking and died for me too.
It was working great for 6 months.
I was trying to blend some fruits and the blender started smoking and died. I mailed the customer support I got no reply. I tried calling them. They always have unusual call volumes and they do not have a wait line. They keep cutting my call.

I cant believe anyone could have a problem with this Model I hate that like all blendsers It wakrs the dead BUT boy is it an ICE CRUSHER! Smooties are the fifth food group in Hawaii and I love to have chunkless smoothies . We are happy and saved money got it on sale =)

Love It!
I just had the most creamy milkshake ever! This blender is a must for any kitchen or bar. I like the glass versus the acrylic ones. Very sturdy and quite stunning on the counter with my other Oster Metallic Red small appiances! The chopper works great too but it is not made of glass. You can chop as large or small as you like. I highly recommend this particular blender!

mine died
I bought this from manufacturer in case I had a problem .Bought in march of 2017 , quit working like it has no power .Will contact Oster tomorrow and see if they stand behind there products, so far dissapointed should have lasted longer than a year .Roger
