Makes great smoothies and dressings
This is a great choice for an entry level blender for the casual cook who wants to make a smoothie or whip up salad dressings. It does what you need it to do at a great price point. Oster gives a great tip for successful blending: add the liquid first, then the solids. Frozen items need to float which means you have enough liquid. If you don’t have sufficient liquid, it will not blend. Do not use any utensil to push down the ingredients because you will probably accidentally touch the blade and then have pieces of whatever utensil you used in your smoothie, I have personal experience with bamboo flavored smoothie from using a chopstick!
One cool trick is to use a mason jar like how you would use a Magic Bullet for salad dressings or smoothies to go because it fits perfectly in the thread of the cap. Also, it’s one less dish to clean, you can store the leftover dressing in the same jar.
The motor is powerful enough to make your smoothie smooth and blend ice cubes, but I wouldn’t use it to make a nut butter out of almonds or peanuts because you need a food processor or a high powered blender for that job.
Easy to clean, can put all the parts in your dishwasher.

Outstanding product
If you e been thinking about getting a new blender, but undecided on which one to get problem solved. This one right here is great, I love it, it’s perfect size. Doesn’t take up much space, not very noisy at all. Everything I’ve used it for has turned out perfectly as it should. It holds quite a bit to. I love making my smoothies in it every morning it chops my fruit up perfectly. Very easy to use you don’t have to sit and guard it or hold it down like some I’ve owned in past. Very easy to clean also dishwasher safe how awesome and convenient is that. Also very stylish will match any kitchen color and decor. So hey look no further this one is the best ever!! I love love love mine you will to.

A Good, No Fuss Blender
I had been using a different brands personal blender and got to the point where I realized I wanted to make extra smoothies to drink later in the day and I’m so glad I got this Oster Blender. I think it’s the perfect size and what I really love about it is how easy it is to clean up. The container is glass so you can put in the dishwasher as it is thick and sturdy. The way it blends is more along the lines of pulpy. It doesn’t blend as smoothly as the expensive blenders out there, but for this price and quality, the Oster is a great buy. For me, it does the job of providing me with delicious, healthy smoothies, and at the end of the day, that’s exactly what I need. Very happy with this blender!

Great blender!
This blender is pretty great! It's very easy to use. I made some black bean brownies in it and it blended amazingly. Everything in it was blended perfectly and it was a pretty big batch. The part that the jar sits in is very easy to read. I accidentally forgot to wash it after the use but I washed it immediately the next day. Even after sitting all night it was still very easy to clean and nothing stuck to it or the rubber top. Only complaint I have is the cord is to short. I don't have normal counters in my house and every plug in I had was very hard to reach. I had to move a lot of things to us it. I would personally like the chord a little longer. Besides the chord this blender is really great!

Great blender!
This blender is easy to use and clean. I used it to make cucumber ranch dressing, smoothies and salsa to go on our tacos. It's super nice, and rinses out easily. It's not overly heavy like some of my older blenders, and it definitely gets the job done. My ranch was smooth and creamy without giant chunks in it, and my smoothie was perfect and came up my straw easily. I absolutely love this blender. I loved how pretty my sauce came out! It has multiple modes ,the buttons are easy to press too.

Powerful and versatile!
I'm very impressed with the versatility and power of this blender. I have put it to a battery of test and it's passed each one with flying colors. It blends fruits perfectly for a very tasty smoothie. I have tried blueberries, banana and strawberry. It did a great job with all of them. You would think you bought it from a specialty drink shop! It also crushes ice with such ease! It has also helped me chop onions and tomatoes into perfectly sized ingredients for dishes. Cleaning it was a breeze! You can remove the blade and all it's parts are dishwasher safe!

Great value!
My family has been using Oster blenders since I was little, and they've always been powerful, reliable, and long lasting--this one is no exception. I love a glass jar, becuase it seems to get cleaner and I don't worry about mold growing in the crevices, like can happen with molded plastic. Also, a dish washer safe jar is super convenient. Having used a number of blender from various brands, I can confidently say that this blender performance stands up to all but the most expensive brands, so its performance comes at a significant value. I recommend it!

This is a nice compact blender. The base is pretty basic and has all the standard functions for blending and ranges from stir to liquify. The button placement is a little odd. Instead of have to push the buttons, I would have preferred the buttons being closer to the top of the base so you can push the button from above instead of push into the base which might push at the base. The blender jar is good quality glass and is very sturdy and thick. It has markings for measurements on the side and ha aplenty of capacity for basic kitchen needs. The blade unscrews from the jug and can be washed in the dishwasher which is convenient. The blade could be a little more polished but it functions fine. Overall a good blender for your everyday needs.

Best blender on a budget!
This blender is amazing! I love that it's a glass pitcher so that you can throw it in the dishwasher. Unlike plastic dishwashers, it won't get cloudy or discolored. The best part is that unlike my Ninja blender, the bottom unscrews do you can clean the blades and really get to the bottom of the pitcher. I've done some browsing and I've already bought a replacement blade for when this one gets dull.
This blender runs for so long without getting hot and smelly. It makes amazing smoothies and salsas/sauces. I use it for my weekly sauces.

Works great!
This blender definitely impressed me! It works great and it is definitely powerful for the size even compared to my ninja blender.
I tend to use my blender mostly for smoothies and the fruit and ingredients blended well and distributed evenly. The blades are very sharp
and seem to be able to cut through anything! There are different settings for chop, purée, pulse, etc… The only negative I have is the buttons. They work fine now but don’t seem very sturdy.
Clean up is a cinch. I just rinse it off and toss in the dishwasher.

Straight into the trash
As soon as I took this out of the box, I tried to get the blade off so that I could wash all the pieces. It felt really tight so I asked my husband to help. It wouldn’t budge for him either. He then realized the whole thing was warped and that the blade wasn’t even on right. It was on crooked and would not come off, so straight into the trash it went. Was super disappointed.

Okay
While this blender is easy to clean, I have a hard time blending my smoothies with it. I’m not sure if it’s user error, but I followed the very weak directions provided and still wait for minutes to have a blended smoothie. I don’t like that I have to hold some buttons but others can be pushed on and off. There’s a lot of options but not much description on what to use them for, for how long, etc. so it’s all just a guessing game until you figure it out. I like how big it is, and that i can hand wash it with ease.

Great blender
I've used this blender a lot in the past week, and have been very happy with it. The jar is big enough to make 2 smoothies, and seems like it has enough power to handle larger pieces. It comes apart and goes back together very easily, and I love the glass for dishwasher cleaning. This blender also made a nice Swiss Chard pesto and didn't require too much additional liquid to get the consistency I was looking for. Overall, it does everything I'd expect it to and I'm comfortable putting it in the dishwasher.

Makes perfect smoothies.
My smoothie machine died, so I bought this to replace it. And I like it much better. Unlike the smoothie maker, this has adjustable speed, and I can make a large amount at one time. I wish I had bought this in the first place. It feels very solid.

Dishwasher safe glass jar.
This is a basic looking blender but it does the job needed. It holds 6 cups, which is 48 oz. and is good for everyday use.
The 5-speed functionality makes it easy to make smoothies and frozen drinks.
It has many different settings for different needs. It has options for stir, mix, chop, blend, puree, liquify, and pulse.
It has removable blades which makes cleaning easy. So far I have had no issues with making smoothies, salsa and shakes.
Overall it does almost all the food prep required.

Love this blender!
As a mom of 5, I struggle with getting my kids to drink anything beyond soda. So having a good blender is a must for me! I love to blend up some fresh fruit like watermelon with ice and make natural slushies for them to drink. They love it! The Oster Easy to Clean blender fits my family perfectly. It's a fast clean up (because lord knows I barely have time to even breathe) and it has a nice/sharp power to it. I've tried many blenders and so far this is my favorite. True value for your money.

Powerful motor
My Oster Blender is my new go to for making all my smoothies. My daughter and I live for a good frozen fruit smoothie and it requires frozen fruit, ice, oat milk, a few greens and chia seeds. I make them daily to make sure we all get the vitamins we need. Anyhow I used to use a random bullet, but now I ONLY use my Oster blender. Is and incredibly strong mixer, excellent and chopping up frozen fruits and ices. I’ve even used it for chopping up dry herbs for cooking and it makes the best pancakes. I’m in love with how easy it is to clean and take care of and I love the glass pitcher, it really makes me feel best when I use glass for meal preparation as opposed to plastic. I enjoy the look of it on my counter top and the smoothness of my smoothies snd it’s simple enough my teen daughter is able to use it. It’s very sturdy and the glass is very very thick. Even dropping it in the sink is not of concern. Pulverizing my frozen strawberries and blueberries and other fruits and even breaking apart my flax and chia seeds. It’s such an awesome blender and I really enjoy using it.

Not as powerful as I'd like
I opened the box to get it all out and washed, but I was really shocked at how much dust and cardboard particles were all over the whole thing. After cleaning and assembly it still didn't wow me. It had to have too much liquid to frozen fruit I had to constantly take the lid off to mix it. When it was mostly blended then it still left the blueberry skins fairly large. If you use this for liquids this could work for you. But if you like thicker smoothies you need a stronger blender.

Great quality and power.
This is a powerful blender for everyday use. We use our blenders daily and my husband needed his own to make his shakes and smoothies. My blender would make his smoothie takes like whatever I previously used the blender. It is somewhat compact as it doesn't take much counter space. It has 8 speeds making powerful enough to crush ice and fruit. My husband has no complaints. It is also very easy to clean and we like the glass jar that doesn't retain smells. Great quality and power.

I can put it in the dishwasher!
We use a blender a lot in our home and have been through more than our fair share of them over the years so I was excited to try a new one out that claimed to be easy to clean AND you can put it in the dishwasher! I hate trying to clean a blender especially after making sauces with peppers but being able to toss this one in the dishwasher really has been a game changer. No more deciding to pass on that yummy smoothie because you don't want to deal with cleaning the blender.

This is my first time owning a blender with a glass jar and I actually like it because it easy to clean, and doesn't have to worry about plastic particles in my food. It's a simple blender to use and has eight different speeds with 700 watts motor. It holds up to six cups. It's very easy to use, crushes the ice almost instantly and there are no big chunks left behind. I've been using it to make iced coffee, smoothies, daiquiris, and milkshakes.

Easy to use
This is easy to use, easy to clean. I had been using a well known "higher end" one touch Blender for the longest now and if im being honest it's got all of the negative attributes this Blender does not. I dont have to worry if it's going to blend properly to my needs, if the blades will fall out in what im pouring into, or anything else at that. This one has yet to leak on me, does what I want and makes clean up a Breeze

Good for smoothies
The blender works well and serves its purpose. It’s easy to set up and use. I love that the blender jar is made of glass, which is so easy to clean! Unfortunately, the blender struggles a bit when crushing ice, however, it blends better when liquids are added first and then frozen/solids are added. After some trial and error, I was able to figure out the liquid to solid ratio and smoothies came out perfectly blended!

PERFECT SIZE!
This is the perfect blender and the perfect size! Our upper cabinets in our kitchen sit lower than most and bigger blenders don't fit. This one is great! We use it every morning for smoothies. I have 1 teenagers, 1 tween and one toddler....I make a big batch of smoothies enough for everyone with this blender. We outgrew the magic bullet size. I also think it blends smoother and faster than the bullet.

Good but heavy!
The only reason why I’m giving this a three star review is because the jar is made out of glass which makes it so heavy! It makes it harder for me to wash and I feel like if I would slip and the jar would drop then it would break! But overall it is a good blending machine! The glass jar does make it look more luxurious so if you don’t mind it being heavy then I definitely would get it.

Best blender I’ve had!
I love how this blender is really compact and does not take up a lot of space on my counter. The blending jar is perfect for scooping contents out of it. I also like how the blender jar is made of glass so it’s very sturdy. It blends all of the ice and thick chunks down so it makes smooth milkshakes and smoothies. The blades unscrew from the jug and can be placed into the dishwasher.

So easy to clean
My family loves smoothies with frozen fruit so my blender has to be pretty strong; because of all those smoothing I’m also always washing my blender… this is the perfect smoothie blender!! The glass cup gives me some vintage vibes and I feel so relieved to know that there’s no chance for yucky stuff to get stuck between the plastic like with other blenders. The blades can be screwed off too! And best of all… both the cup and the blades are dishwasher safe!
So far all the settings I’ve tried on my new Oster Easy-to-Clean-Blender have been really strong and each setting works how it should. Ice and frozen fruits are easily crushed, the blades are powerful! I have been putting the blades in the dishwasher (top rack) one or two times a day depending on how many times I use my blender and the blades are still as sharp as day 1. This blender isn’t obnoxiously loud, I think it’s very reasonable! I really couldn’t be happier

Great Features!
I recently got this Oster Easy-to-Clean Blender with Dishwasher-Safe Glass Jar and it works great! It has 7 different function buttons. The jar is big and sturdy. It holds about six cups.
