Care & Maintenance

To clean blender jar, combine warm water and 1 – 2 drops of liquid dishwashing detergent in blender jar and run on lowest speed for 10 – 15 seconds. Empty jar of soapy water into sink. Rinse jar thoroughly with clean water.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Red Ridinghood from Crushes Ice With Ease! Oster 2-in- 1 System with Smoothie and Salsa Auto Programs is a really good blender! Pros- I found that it was very easy to set up, came with a smoothie cup for smoothie storage, and grinds anything with extreme ease! I made fruit smoothies in seconds and was very pleased with the sturdy blades and their ability to crush and grind anything. Cons- I wish it had a spigot or an easier way to pour out the end result. I intentionally made a very thick smoothie and poured it on myself. A port in the side would have made my life easier. I have in the past and will continue to recommend Oster to friends and family. This specific blender is my new favorite kitchen tool!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Laure from Great look Oster One Touch Blender with 2 Auto Programs Set-Up was very easy Pros: The chrome finish is gorgeous! It compliments my kitchen. I love the pre-programmed buttons which make it easy to use. I love the Compact design. The glass jar gives it a sophisticated look and makes it easy to clean. Cons: This blender is lighter weight; it moves when blending. The lid feels very feeble and does not have a seal. The blender gave a burning smell when using it. Quality: This blender works fine. it did grind up everything well, when making fresh fruits smoothies, however, with frozen fruits, it did not work so well. Overall this blender can be a great addition to your small appliances collections depending on how often and what type of smoothies you using it for.

The salsa was a perfect consistency and was so quick to make and I was able to make it in the cup instead of dirting the whole blender. The smoothie came out so smooth too, it has no problem crushing the ice, I made this in the larger blender because everyone in the house wanted one. The blade is super easy to move from the large blender to the cup and it's all dishwasher safe! One of the best features is the cup, if you are just making a single drink you can make it in there and drink it out of the cup as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DawnG578 from Works very well! We have used this blender several times now and it's worked very well each time. The first thing that I tried was the Salsa auto program. I was super impressed by how perfect the salsa came out - chunky and delicious, evenly mixed. I haven't tried the smoothie program yet but have used it to crush ice for fraps and to make several incredible milkshakes - those come out so good in this blender! It seems very powerful and smart, looks really nice and could not be any easier to use. You can clean the Blend and Go cup and the jar in the dishwasher, so it's really easy to clean. It fits on my counter under my cabinets with plent of cleanance at the top. I think it's a really nice blender, I love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Marryri from Simple and powerful The automatic functions are a huge time saver and they get it right: the salsa function blends the tomatoes, spices, etc to perfection. Not too thick, and not extremely soupy. I love it. The unit is easy to clean which makes maintenance a breeze. My son doesn't eat veggies besides lettuce, however he loves fruits, so I added spinach and avocado to his fruit smoothie and he drinked it without tasting any trick, lol. The ice was crushed well enough and there were no chunky bits of any of the fruit. There is a cup where you can make quick smoothies, right into it. You just pop the blades and the o ring into it and then screw the black base into it, then pop it right back into the base and make your smoothie. They include a lid for it for easy drinking on the go! Overall, a good experience with Oyster blender.

We use it for our smoothies, so we can have them fresh and delicious in 5 minutes ready to drink. We also use it to make pesto, basil tomato sauce and the Spanish gazpacho and they all have a wonderful texture and incredible flavor. It is very easy to clean and ready to use again. Now that I have it, I am not sure how I managed without it before. I highly recommend it specially for those families with young kids, who love to have their fruit in those delicious smoothies.

I love throwing fruits, vegetables and even meat in the blender. Among the normal settings it has an automated smoothie auto program as well as salsa program so you can easily choose either one to quickly blend and make your smoothie or salsa. I love that it came with a travel blender cup to take your smoothie with you on the go. Easy to clean. Highly recommend as I use this daily. I make a smoothie for breakfast every morning.

My toddler is a huge fan of smoothies for breakfast, and since I also have a baby, I don’t have much time to spend on making an elaborate breakfast. The Oster 2-in-1 system made making breakfast a breeze! I added cubes of ice to our smoothie ingredients, and this system did a great job of crushing it and I wasn’t left with any chunks of ice. This is so important when giving to my toddler so I’m not worried about her choking on ice chunks. The 2-in-1 system is super easy to clean, and great for making a bunch of smoothies or just one serving. I love the one push button for smoothies and salsas also! It takes the guesswork out of getting the right consistency. While I haven’t had a chance to make a salsa with this system, I’m so excited to try it out soon!
