Oster is my favorite blender Brand, ever since I was little that was the only brand mom bought, I remember she had one for more than 12 years and she will work very hard on that blender, I am so happy they still making this brand, and this Oster Blender is super Easy to Use Blender anything you want, from salsas, smoothies, chop food and basically anything, I Love the cup is plastic and is not heavy, motor seems lighter too but powerful, the design of this blender is simple but elegant and high quality at the same time. Now I have 2 awesome Oster blenders!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Teammaxey from Mediocre Blender This is a mediocre blender at best. It doesn't feel super sturdy and is a bit of a chore to get it to blend well. I feel like I have to wobble it a bit to get things moving, and it's surprisingly loud. It feels cheaply made, and like it won't last for very long. I wouldn't mid those aspects if it actually blended well, but it takes a lot of time to get it to blend anything very well. I have to add more liquid than I'm use to in order to get it moving. It is easy to use though, very intuitive. It's very easy to clean which is also a great bonus.

I love the look of this blender, looks good in my counter. Jar is easy to clean and is dishwasher safe.The mix and blend options get on and off by a button with no finger on button all the time while chop and ice crush options require us to press the button continuously. I am taking out 1 star bacause of this and also I prefer glass jars over plastic one. Overall it’s a nice blender.

I just bought it, and this is my first time using it, literally the first time I pushed the button and the container cracked. I thought it can crush ice, so surely it’ll handle some frozen berries. Nope. Very disappointed. Hopefully target will give me a refund.

We have been looking for a quality blender for quite some time but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars. The Oster blender is fantastic with options such as ice crush and chop it does a wonderful job at creating well blended smoothies, protein shakes, and milkshakes! It is plastic but very easy to clean and very user friendly. It is compact and takes up very little counter space in our small kitchen. We absolutely love this device and it is highly recommended by our family.

We use this every other day or so to make smoothies (or milk shakes), and I will even throw in a pie crust recipe (yep, not a typo) and it turns out perfectly! Works great every time and has 5 different speeds for meeting your blending needs, it’s very easy to clean up and wonderful quality. I have lots of Oster products and they hold their products at a high quality for their customers. Definitely recommended!

The one thing I don't love is that I still had chunks in my smoothies. We drink a lot of smoothies around here and I need them to be smooth. But this one left several big chunks of ice, which were easy enough to fish out but I just don't love it. It works well enough, so I'm happy to have it but in an ideal world it would handle all the ice in the smoothies.

As well as being compact so it doesn’t take much room in my cabinet. Not only does it make great shakes and smoothies, but I’ve been using it to make some delicious guacamole. It does get bogged down when trying to blend thick things or if powder makes a paste. I counter that by just putting all the liquid things first and any powder last or in batches.

So, I’m in the kitchen a lot and a blender is my life saver. This blender has done so many things in a small span of time. I can use it for so many things. I make juice, smoothies, I make sauce, margaritas and what not. It just helps so much in literally everything I do in kitchen. It is light weight and so easy to clean. Very easy to use blender and everyone need this in their life.

I can tell you that after using this Oster Easy-To-Use 5-Speed Blender on several occasiona - including a very busy cooking weekend - this product definitely lives up to its reputation. As the name says, this Oster blender is very easy to use from right out of the box. The product itself is made with a very durable plastic. The parts are easy to assemble. This blender has 5 speeds which is great for so many things. I personally use this blender to make smoothies, soups, salsa - and milkshakes on the occasion as well. Clean-up is just as easy. The size itself isn't too overwhelming. As a matter of fact, I usually keep mine on the counter because it's used so much and it doesn't get in the way at all - nor is it an eye sore. Overall, I can't say enough good things about this Oster blender. Highly recommended!

I made smoothies in this blender and was impressed. It is powerful and did a good job. It did not finely chop my fruits and veggies, but there were no chunks, just tiny bits, instead of finely ground like your true "smoothie blenders" would provide. Anyhow, I was able to make several servings, instead of a single serving. As for the plastic cup, it does have a very lightweight feel.

Only downside is on occasion if we filled it more to the top the top part didnt mix or blend as well. Didnt happen every time we filled it mostly full but it did a few times. It may have just been how much ice we had put in it and might have been too thick for the top. But overall it works well and im happy i got it.

It is a very practical blender, it has several speeds, the glass is very resistant and strong, suitable for hot and cold, but not boiling, however I like to beat the puree of my little boy warm and it has turned out very well. the lid fits perfectly and prevents unwanted accidents. It has a capacity of up to 1,500L or 6 cups, which is quite a lot. The size is comfortable and does not take up much storage space. I really like it and use my Oster blender daily.

For a blender it was way too complicated to use and nusg had a ton of issues. I wanted to go back to a simple one that didn't need an entire instruction booklet to explain a million functions and how to use. And this is the perfect one. It works every single time, is super easy to use and hasn't failed me once. It has 5 speeds which is plenty enough for a blender. It works as it should.

It’s 6 cups blender so it makes enough for us, family of 5, a cup of drink for everyone. It has 4 speed run with different functions, like mix, ice crush, chop and blend so can be used for multiple purposes. I use this blender for making smoothies and workout blend only and it works out greatly expected. Also, it’s easy to clean and dry.

The jar is a 6 cup holder, which is great when you want to make more than one milkshakes. I like the fact that it is not that big and fits right under my counter. We made milkshakes and they were perfect. The ice was completely crushed with no large ice cubes left uncrushed. It is simple to use. I love the fact that there is. 3 year warranty on it. Love it.

I like to throw in a little frozen spinach or butternut squash, and this only works with a good blender. You can always use this blender for shakes or malts, too. The. I throw in ice cream and frozen fruit, which was also perfect with this blender! It is easy to use, and the different settings help you get the outcome you want. Definitely worth it!

I made over 35 quarts of tomatoe juice and use this blender along the way to mix the juice well with other ingredients. As a mom of four children this blender comes in handy as well with making protein drinks for everyone and even milkshakes. If your busy alot in the kitchen or even just needing a blender to mix drinks and has many speeds to accommodate this is the blender for you.

I did not realize that this was plastic it looks like glass but is plastic and not that thick, feels like it could crack if dropped. Blends good and smoothly with multiple settings. The lid is a flexible plastic that if blending anything that was boiling you can definitely feel the heat through the lid.

I've used it to make soups, pulsing broccoli florettes for cream of broccoli soup for instance, and I've made fresh salsa for game days, but my favorite thing for myself is fresh fruity smoothies. The kids love it for shakes but they get smoothies more often than not.I like that the blades are metal and the plastic is BPA free and it's dishwasher safe making for easy cleanup every time. The blade pulverizes and chops with perfection so all my fruits and vegetables are the same consistency each and every time. there's 5 speeds which include low, medium, high and pulse so whichever fruit or veggie you need to blend you can with ease and perfection. This blender has made cooking so much easier than just constantly cutting or chopping it saves my wrists too. I absolutely recommend this blender.

Directions to use are simple. I love the 5 speeds for a variety of uses. I’ve had the Blender for a couple of weeks, it well exceeded my expectations for the money. Very happy with it performance. Very powerful and it's dishwasher safe. I like to call this one my multipurpose blender.

It has 5 different blend levels to choose from & comes with a recipe book to learn from. I've made my homemade salsa using this blender, I've also made some milkshakes; ice cream shakes & smoothies. It's been very helpful when either cooking or making some easy desserts. It's very easy to pull apart to wash or even to wash in the dishwasher.

It just slides on easy. No need for locking it or trying to get it “in” the right way. There are 4 options.. mix, blend, chop and ice crush. It takes a bit longer for crushing ice then I would have hoped but it still works great and makes great smoothies, Frappuccinos.. etc.

I appreciate the measuring guides on all four sides of pitcher. I mostly use blend or mix options to make sauces and shakes. The ice I use is not big or chunky so it blends well. I like the size and it looks cute on my countertop. It does not take up a lot of space. I like the black base as well. Great functional blender!

As someone who loves to make smoothies as meal replacements and snacks, I was looking for a basic blender that was powerful enough to crush ice and pulverize basic fruits and vegetables. I love that this blender is super simple to utilize, as it features an off button and then buttons to pulse, crush ice, chop, puree, etc.. The functions are easily readable, and the 6-cup capacity is perfect for my needs. At 700-watts, this Oster Blender is fairly powerful and is able to product a smooth shake consistently. At times, I do need to mix my components to help the machine grip thicker fruits and such. However, I find this blender to do a great job with ice, yogurt, soft fruits and leafy greens. Easy to wash and store, this blender is perfect for anybody seeking a blender for basic everyday tasks.

This blender flings all foods off the blades so forget about making pestos or salsas even though the product says it can. The food will not get enough contact with the blades to do any kind of chopping. Extremely disappointed.

I like the main container is not glass so it is quite light and easy to handle. The plastic container is pretty good quality and easy to clean. The blender is quite powerful with its 5 speed function. I love this new addition to our kitchen!

It made it up within 3 minutes time. Wasn't too loud like the old ones use to be and blended it just right. I have a surgery coming up and will have to be on an all liquid diet and I am interested to to cut up and blend all my meats.
