Care & Maintenance
To clean blender jar, combine warm water and 1 – 2 drops of liquid dishwashing detergent in blender jar and run on lowest speed for 10 – 15 seconds. Empty jar of soapy water into sink. Rinse jar thoroughly with clean water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to Use I make smoothies at least once a week so I love that this blender has the automatic smoothie button. Makes it so much easier to make my smoothie. I haven't made salsas in the past but I may try just to try the button on this blender. I like that this blender is simple and easy to use. Only a few buttons versus a bunch of different buttons for all different types of blending. I've used the blender several times already and it's sturdy and seems to be a quality product that will last many years. I also like that it isn't a huge blender and can easily be stored in a cabinet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from An Amazing Blend I wanted a blender for myself that would give me what I was looking for, it does. This blender has a glass Jar, Filler cap, Lid, Sealing ring, blade, jar nut, and the panel. It also has a Smoothie button and a Salsa button. The smoothies I made were spectacular and they blended to the right consistency they were smooth and it didn't take long to blend them. The salsa blended to the right consistency and texture and it smelled great and looked good. On the planel it has a Low, Medium, and High button which I used to blend extra fruit and vegetables. It also has a pulse button that can chop up ice very good. This blender is so easy to clean and use. I will continue to make my Smoothies and Salsa I absolutely like it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing that plastic cap broke after 5 uses. I bought this in June 2024. Today, February 17, 2025, the black plastic bottom cap cracked when I tried to use it. I'm trying to fill in a warranty claim but can't find the stuff they're asking for. Date code and supplier codes engraved on outside prongs of plug? I don't see either. Is there a help line I can call so someone can talk me through filing a claim? I had my last Oster blender for 15 years with no problems. It's super disappointing that this one hasn't lasted a year.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great Machine But!!!!!! It is a great machine and mixes well - But DO NOT BUY it if you want the 8 cup capacity glass jar and it breaks - Oster does not sell 8 cup replacement jars. My unit is now worthless!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from No different than the cheaper brands. I bought my blender at Walmart a couple months ago and was super excited with the various options. Works great for restaurant style salsa and blending oats for oat flour but otherwise it’s no different than the cheaper models. You constantly have to stop and spoon stuff around. Then on my 5th use it started smoking and smelling like it was burning. I wish someone would make a heavy duty blender that actually lasts.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad product. Do not buy. I got this product as a long waited birthday gift and couldn’t have been more disappointed. This blender does not blend. Period dot. Due to the shape of the blades, air bubbles form almost immediately. It takes 20+ minutes to make a smoothie because I have to stop it, mix it with a spoon, then get about 1-2 seconds of blending before it forms an air bubble again. Not to mention, the noise is unbearable. By far the loudest, cheapest, and inefficient blender I’ve ever used.
