All parts except for the blender base are dishwasher safe. Place sealing ring in bottom basket of dishwasher.

Perfect for parties!
This “party” blender is well-named! The large glass jar is a great size for blending up drinks for a group, which is exactly how I’ve been using it. My drink of the summer has been the “Frose” – which includes 1 bottle of chilled (or frozen) rose, 1 cup of frozen strawberries, a few handfuls of ice, ¼ cup of sugar and a teaspoon of lemon juice. This blender accomplishes the ideal texture for a frozen cocktail, is easy to clean, and has a sleek design that looks good on my counter top. We also use it for smoothies (so not just for parties, ha), and that works really well, too. The glass jar also feels super sturdy and durable. This would be a perfect gift for someone who loves to host. Highly recommend!

Party Blender
OMG, this is the perfect blender ever invented. Me and my girls had a girls night and we made drinks using my new blender. This party blender blended the ice so fine and fast. The drinks were so delicious and couldn't find one ice cube, compared to other blenders which leave whole pieces of ice. We made so many drinks that night with the blender. The blades on the blender are so sharp and gets the job done. The size of the blender is perfect for a party. It will make a great big portion of drinks at one time. I would definitely recommend this blender to family and friends.

Amazing value, perfect drink ice results
This blender is perfect for parties. It has an extremely powerful motor and has no problem quickly creating the perfect slushy or margarita texture. I also use it to make soups and salsas. The blender makes quick work of them and perfectly pulverizes everything. The 8 cup jar is the real hero here. It’s huge and let’s me make everything in one batch regardless of how many drinks I need to make. I spend less time in the kitchen and more time with happy guests. Yay.
If you’re looking for a quality blender at a fraction of the price of other brands, look no further.

Powerful!
This blender has been amazing thus far. We love to make smoothies, shakes, dips, mixed drinks, and so much more, this blender has helped with all of it! It crushes through ice like with ease, it is powerful, however not overly noisy. The XL cup is wonderful for our family of 5, and it is dishwasher safe too! There are different settings to use, with 8 different speeds, and its powerful 4 blades. It was very simple and straight forward to set up and get to using it right away. The packaging was compact, neat, and it was well protected.

Super nice blender
This has to be the best blender I have owned so far. I love how large it is so I don't have to make multiple batches of milkshakes for the family. It blender the ice cream very finely and I even put candy in it and it chopped it up very well. I have also made mixed drinks in it and they turned out amazing! It was super easy to clean and isn't too large to store on my counter top. I've had some blenders that sound like they are struggling when they're blending but that was not an issue with this blender, it seems to he very powerful!

Very good blender. Works efficiently
This is a great blender for making frozen drinks which we like to do almost every weekend throughout the summer. It blends very well - like ice, fruits, juice and herbs. Smoothies are also good with this blender (usually veggies and fruits without ice).
The cup is extra large, which helps making it all at once. It's easy to clean as well with dishwasher safe part.
The to-go cup is great to fill it and drink while on the go. It has a good grip to hold it firmly.
Overall great blender from a great brand.

Horrible parts services
Most useless company and products, do not buy this model, they have NO parts in inventory or with their 3rd party suppliers. Go search for model BLSTMEG or with addon BG1-WM1. I Got on chat with Oster to tell me none of the parts are avaliable! But sell it here! Gmab!

This is by far the best blender I've ever used. It literally has a setting for everything and is so powerful! I use it at least once a day for my breakfast smoothie. And my kids love using it for smoothies and milkshakes. I was going to purchase a milkshake machine but after getting this I didn't see any reason for it. I use it for numerous other recipes, it works great for gravies. If you need a blender this is the one to get!! If you're worried about the price, don't worry it's very affordable!!

I just resumed my morning routine of making morning smoothies. For your average smoothie, this is a good blender. Its dose blends pieces of ice pieces well. This blender is perfect for creating a variety of smoothies, frozen drinks, and green drinks. The ingredients are limitless Like strawberry, banana, and mangos, Also green drinks with ingredients like dandelion, kale, romaine lettuce, and dill.

Perfect blender for a busy family
I have recently started a journey to become healthier and eat breakfast. This blender is the perfect companion for that. I love that I can make a giant smoothie for my whole family or a personal size one just for me to grab and run out the door. This blender works great it crushes up ice no problem. This letter also seems very sturdy and like it will last a long time, it also makes my smoothies super smooth. If you're a busy on the go smoothie drinker this is the blender for you.

Time To Party!
The Oster Party Blender is exactly what you need for your next get together! I have had so much fun mixing drinks with this. It’s also great for smoothies and milkshakes. It crushes ice very well compared to other blenders I’ve used. The glass jar for blending is larger than usual, it holds 8 cups. It also has a 20 oz blend and go cup with is great for breakfast or workout smoothies on the go. The blender has & speeds for all your mixing needs. I highly recommend this!

Excellent blender
I don’t own a lot of Oster products but decided to go for the party blender because we are starting to make smoothies. The price is very good for such a powerful blender. I love the simplicity of this blender but also the power. It crushed ice for our smoothies better than some blenders we have owned before. It’s easy to clean and store. I love that it has the additional cup to make individual smoothies for on the go. I was definitely impressed and would recommend!

Nice blender
The Oster classic duralast party Blender is a very nice basic blender. It comes with several speeds so you can get there right blend. I was able to make the best smoothies with it and I was also able to puree food to make baby food with no problem. The blender comes apart so you can clean it with ease. The lid has an opener so you can feed more liquid or even certain solids into blender while blending. Another great thing is that it isn't as loud as most blenders.

Blends slow but efficient.
Got this blender to replace our plastic smaller one and this glass blender has been amazing. It looks like it blends slow and quiet but it blends perfectly and effectively. Comes with the small one for individual milk shakes or smoothies or if you just need to blend a small portion salsa. Easy to remove the blades and switch back and forth. The lid for the blender is a nice hard plastic so you can't feel the heat or does not leak when actively blending.

Great blender!
I got this blender two weeks ago and I have used it multiple times already! We have dinner parties at our home and it is perfect. It makes perfect mixed drinks, shaker drinks, iced and blended coffees, and milk shakes. It crushes through ice with no problem! I use this on a daily basis for my blended coffees, which has saved me quite a bit of money. It is very durable and has a powerful motor. Great quality that will last for a very long time!

DANGER LID SAFETY ISSUE
Same Issue as Jenny2994 - purchased Oster Party Blender 8 cup at Walmart - after reading your response Jenny2994 to contact customer service again (which you phone hours are normal working hours for most people) and adding that comment about the warranty (When it it a brand new right out of the box issued warranty has not been set up) I decided to just return this product and buy something else. I would also like to add that this is a HUGE safety concern as the lid can fall into the blender while in use, and the fact that I easily found at least one other person on your website with the same issue as mine (meaning there are probably hundreds if not thousands more), I would think that your response as a company would be more expedient and at the convenience of the customer. I was willing to work with customer service until I read that response.

Party in a box!
The Oster Classic Duralast Party Blender truly is a party in a box! The box it comes in, if course! But once you throw the box away, it can be a really good adult drink party, especially with homemade margaritas! Or, you can have a slushie or smoothie party with the kids! The individual blender cup is also very convenient for a morning blended iced coffee as you’re headed out the door. It’s a winner any way you look at and so versatile!

A great blender!
I got this to replace my old blender that died and I love it. I have been using it daily for three weeks and it does the job!! Easily chops and blends frozen fruit, veggies, fresh fruit. It makes the smoothest smoothies and I like the travel jar you can blend food in as a bonus. l like the cycles and speeds available. Definitely excellent for anything you want to blend! A bit loud but I don't mind at all because it fits my necessities.

Works Well!
So far, this blender has worked great!
The size is really nice so we don’t have to worry about overfilling and not leaving enough room for blending. We’ve only made smoothies at this point, but we haven’t had any issues with lumps or clumps that didn’t get blended. It’s been nice to have the big option if multiple people want smoothies or the smaller cup so my husband or I can just make one before work. Definitely recommend!

Excellent buy
I’ve had this blender since July 2025 & I count ask for a better blender for my protein shakes. It chews up frozen fruit with the pulse function. The capacity is XL and holds 8 cups which is more than enough. The large glass jar is a bit heavy for me, but I appreciate that it’s not plastic because of the power. (I’ve had plastic blenders before and they crack.) It was also on sale so that makes this an excellent purchase.

I wish it didn't smell bad
I bought it a few months ago and was so excited about making healthier breakfasts for my boyfriend and myself but I have used it probably 6 or 7 times and it emits this REALLY foul burning smell. It hasn't gone away with use and it makes me nervous to use the blender at all. The blender actually works ok, but the smell is so foul and concerning I would rather not use it at all. Will likely just return it.

High quality sturdy blender
This blender gets the job done. Made of apparently high quality materials it feels sturdy. Yields an excellent product (blending is nice and consistent) when you get the mixing ratios correct and the capacity is also large enough, as is stated, for parties! Very convenient to have on hand for mixing concoctions for larger groups of people. Also has a variety of options/speeds which is always handy.

I have used this Party Blender a few times and I love it. It crushes ice very well, with what seems like little effort. I love having the option to just make one drink at a time. It makes me look like a great bartender. I can make one margarita for someone one, and a pina colada next. The clean up between drinks is fast and easy. I have also used it to make smooties and it does amazing!

Great blender!
This blender, BLENDS! It does it’s job and I love it. I make smoothies and salsas all the time. So I depend on a good blender and this one did not disappoint. It blended my fruit smoothie fast and perfectly. I also made a salsa verde and it turned out awesome! I love the cup I can take on the go for my morning smoothies. Love it!
This is such a great blender. Works great . We use it alot outside on the deck for making lots of of ice cold refreshing mix drinks. It's great for partys it serves alot at once. You can make alot at once or a just a single. It's the perfect blender for our big family. It's perfect for making any kind of drink the way you want to. This blender can blend already soft items really well, but when it comes to frozen items and ice cubes it totally fails. Trying to make smoothies is frustrating with the amount of liquid I have to use(which is much more than necessary) and the amount of times I have to open the top and give things a stir. I do not recommend if your purpose for the blender is smoothies or icy drinks.

This unit's jar does not lock into the base, but the glass tabs will prevent the jar from spinning once you turn on the blender. Just make sure that the jar's bottom assembly is properly attached. It should blend perfectly as expected. Hope this helps!
