This cheap blender is just average. Nothing’s special. It functions well. But there is no stabilizer on the base to keep the jug fixed. I still have to use bare hand to do it.

Very durable. Blends frozen fruit well and cut vegetables to make a sauce. Low noise and cleans very easily especially when you rinse after each use. Very safe to use.

Simple, cost effective blender for your everyday shakes or smoothies
The product isn’t the best of the best but it works just like it should.
Pros: blades are very sharp, blends well, light weight, not crazy loud when blending, seems to have just the right amount of power and efficiency and doesn’t spill over the top when blending if too thin of a liquid.
Cons: button has to be pressed down pretty heavy handed to do a continuous blend, the pitcher seems to be a cheap plastic that I worry will break easily if not very careful, and when I opened the box and took it out it looked like a previously used item. The pitcher had scratches on it and the instructions to set up the blender stated that a seal had to be placed on it and how to set up the blade in the pitcher but it was already together as if it had been used and returned.
It works and is in good condition outside of the few scratches on the pitcher so I’m not going to complain but I hope this isn’t how Oster is selling in the usual because I’m not too many people would be happy knowing that their item was previously used causing the blades to dull. Again it works fine and the blade is very sharp (I hit my finger on one while washing the pitcher and cut myself pretty good) so I’m happy overall.
Overall it is a good blender and the cost ($45-50) is pretty inexpensive compared to some brands. I’m happy bc I finally have a blender for protein shakes, smoothies, and many other things that I’ve needed one before but didn’t want to spend the money on. I say if you’re looking for an inexpensive option for a blender this one is the way to go!
