Care & Maintenance

To clean the inside of the Sport Bottle, rinse the bottle, and pour in 2 cups of water and a small amount of detergent, and press the blend button for 15-20 seconds. Then disassemble and wash all parts in warm, soapy water. Rinse well and dry.
Use a damp, soft sponge with mild detergent to clean the outside of the blender base.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Styrchn from Great personal size blender I make a lot of smoothies, and usually I use a Vitamix but there are a lot of containers to wash, so I was interested in a personal sized blender. I also wanted a portable blender I could take with me on travels. The travel lid to take the contaienr on the go with me was sturdy, and had a good seal. This does a great job of blending my frozen fruit and ice. I did have to give it a shake a few times to dislodge the protein powder, but that was probably the sequence in which I added the items. The only thing I was that the container was a little wider so I could wash the insides of the blender better. Overall a great portable solution.

I bought it when my other portable blender was recalled and didn't have a date when the other one would be replaced. This blender has great power! I love it!! The piece on the lid that holds it closed broke off and I can't find a replacement lid or bottle. I have been using it, just worrying that the contents could spill out now that it isn't latched tight. I'm disappointed that I have to now transfer into another travel container (side note: the dog I'm watching got a hold of the lid overnight and chewed it, so now I'm really up a creek without a smoothie). Any idea where I can get a replacement lid/bottle?

The blender has a one touch control button in the base - press for however long you need to blend. This comes with a handy reusable, BPA-free, 20-oz. sports bottle with measuring marks and a nice rubber seal around the mouthpiece area of the cap to help prevent spills and leaks which makes it easy and convenient to take on the go. The bottle is dishwasher-safe and the blade is removable for easy cleaning. Making smoothies and fresh salad dressings will be a breeze with this.

The blade unscrews from the plastic sport bottle, fill the bottle with liquid, frozen fruit, or whatever you'd like blended, screw the blade attachment back on align the arrows to the base slight turn to lock and it turns on automatically to blend the mixture. Cannot overload the bottle because it won't mix very well. Once blending is complete turn the bottle back over, unscrew the blade attachment and the personal blender comes with a sports bottle lid that screws on and can open and close whenever needed.

There is a 500 ml bottle that doubles to blend and drink out of, all you have to do is switch the top. The drinking spout is wide mouth, to ensure max pour for those who like their shakes a little thicker. There are two indicators (one on the bottle, other on the base) that show you where to line up for easy connection. Once you line those up, a small turn to lock it in, press the button and you're off to blending! I believe I'm gonna use this little gadget alot because it does not disappoint! I definitely recommend for those who like fresh shakes on the go.

I got all my ingredients ready and put them in the blender based on the instructions in the booklet. Turned it on and it blended the smoothie perfectly, then it just shut off. The book said to unplug it and let it sit for 15 min so I did, the problem is that it never worked again after that! I didn’t overfill the bottle and I didn’t even use anything hard (no ice used). It was just liquid and some partially frozen banana pieces! So basically I got one use out of this blender and it died! Disappointed!

I tried every outlet in the house and just wouldn't come on. Yesterday I was in Publix and saw they had a new model called Oster My Blend plus. I really want to make my own smoothies so I went ahead and grabbed the newer model. I figured the last was just defective . I get home and assemble the new one and it also did not work. I even went to my neighbors house and plugged it up there just in case my outlets were giving poor voltage, and NOPE it did not work. How I'd it possible TWO blenders never worked? Seems like Oster is selling blown out defective products. Very annoyed.

It has a powerful motor that can blend pretty much all ingredients that you use in your favorite smoothie. Another plus point is that its bottle is dishwasher-safe, makes it very easy to have it ready and clean everyday. I have used it to make Indian lassi too and it tastes so good! All you need is some vanila or plain yogurt, add some water and voila! It's got just one button to operate, very simple and easy to operate and very light weight. Overall great product and I woul highly recommend it.
