Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for grinding things I got this Oster XL professional blender complimentary in exchange for my honest review. This blender looks pretty great on my kitchen counter, it's so fancy that I don't mind leaving it out. This blender is incredibly powerful. My husband enjoys eating ground up oats and this machine did not disappoint. He especially loves how big the blender cup is, he gets to grind even more oats and gets the job done faster that way. It's also amazing for margaritas and crushing the ice. The last thing I will mention is that it's easy to use, you almost don't even need the directions. Overall I would say this is a awesome blender and throughly enjoyed testing it out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gets the job done in seconds! This blender is incredible! It has 8 speeds and in less than a minute I have a delicious smoothie with NO chunks. The 9 cup jar is perfect for making morning smoothies for my whole family in one go and the tamper tool is such a convenient thing to have. I also really like the touch screen controls as they’re very responsive and you can choose to control by speed or by what you’re trying to make (i.e. a smoothie, a milkshake, salsa, etc.) I also like that the motor doesn’t overheat from continued use and that the jar is dishwasher safe. The only thing I’d change about it is how loud it is but that’s a not a dealbreaker for me.

I have an older model blender from Oster that I love, but it has definitely seen better days and to be honest, it wasn't as big as what I needed. I love to make things with crushed ice or large batches of sauces that require something with a little more space and oats. When I got this blender, the first thing I loved was it was right out of the box ready to use! 4 pieces total, no fuss, no tons of wrapping and things to peel off, just packaged safely and ready to be washed and placed together easily to use. It definitely has the power I need, it blasts through ice with very little effort and my sauces are so smooth!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blender Workhorse Very powerful blender. Huge glass blending jar. 3 settings for smoothie, milkshake, & cocktails. Plus, 3 speed settings. Includes a tamper tool which is a bonus over having to use a kitchen utensil. Washed easily. Lid isn’t the easiest to push down in place but this prevents it from being blown off while in use. My 12- year old had no issues using this blender, on his own, for his smoothies. It’s fairly quiet on the slower settings but pretty loud on high. However, it’s a workhorse of a blender so that’s expected. Solid on the counter top with rubber grips. Definitely recommended to get the job done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing blender This blender is awesome and I love how multi-functional it is. The blender jar is huge and holds 9 cups. It has 8 different speeds and can do just about everything from pulsing, making salsa, and any kind of frozen beverage you can think of. So far I’ve made smoothies and soups that have blended quickly and smoothly in no time! The blender is very powerful and has a dual direction blade that will pulverize ingredients quickly. It comes with a tamper tool as well, which is great for when ingredients need to be pushed toward the blades. I’m excited to keep finding new uses for this blender!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great, but… So I love that there are different setting for certain things to blend. The problem is they don’t seem to do a great job. I have been using the medium setting on everything and that works the best. I had set it to milkshake and it just wouldn’t blend as thoroughly. The frozen option, it doesn’t chop the ice up. I like that it blend, takes a break for things to settle and automatically starts again but it just doesn’t do the work it should. Medium setting works every time. My kids have been making smoothie bowls just about every day. It’s very easy to clean up, has a nice long cord, convenient to keep on my counter. Overall it’s a good blender. Maybe I’m doing something wrong with the other settings.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great blender at a great value! The Oster XL Professional Blender is a great all in one, we make smoothies and milkshakes in the blender and salsa in the food processor. The blender pitcher is large and can hold a lot so we can make smoothies for the whole family! It is super easy to clean and store and is relatively quiet but powerful. It has a lot of cool features such as an automatic blend and a grater function - I haven’t tried all of these yet but it seems like the possibilities are endless! I would say this is a great professional blender on a budget and would definitely recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful Blender This is a very powerful blender as it literally blends beautifully. I am big on smoothies and milkshakes; I have struggled to find blenders that crush big pieces of ice but this one crushes and blends beautifully. It is user friendly and very convenient. Very easy to use which is so important for me as I have my grandma staying with us. She makes her own smoothies without anybody’s help. It is a great blender for thick recipes. Literally, it blends smoothly without a problem. I made a vegetable soup that had big chunks of vegetables and it blended quickly and without any issues. I am really impressed with the performance of this blender. If you want a good blender that, does it all, this is a good one to have under your belt.
