Rated 1 out of 5 by Taco from Died after 4 months It worked as expected for a few months, and we were pleased with it. BUT it’s not even been four months since we bought it and now it shuts off after a few minutes of cooking and won’t turn back on. Presumably it’s overheating given that it works again eventually, but an appliance intended to heat things shouldn’t have a problem with heat within 5 minutes of use. I’d ask for a replacement since it’s under a 1 year warranty, but can’t find instructions anywhere online and the manual just says to contact Oster without providing any details on how. Super unhelpful and not satisfied that my $100 were well-spent.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Notoster from Not what I expected Got it as a Christmas gift. Not the one I wanted, but what they could afford. First thing I tried was French Fries. Good point, French Fries cooked in 12 minutes. I did not think FF's could taste more bland than when cooked in oven, but I was wrong. Even after heavy salting, very bland. I will not trade the cooking in oil for higher sodium intake. Items I wanted to try.in an air fryer, cannot be tried in this brand fryer. Going to wait a few days, return this and pay the difference for an Air Fryer that is more versatile. Plus, you couldn't even be bothered to toss in a couple recipes to get us started!!

I wasn’t impressed with the idea of air fryers when they first came out...then one of my friends was talking about how wonderful her marinated pork loin came out in her air fryer, I then started reading up on them! I went with Oster because of the excellent experiences I’ve had with other Oster appliances I’ve owned over the years. It was on sale for $20 off, plus I had a store coupon for 30% off so that made it too hard to pass up! This afternoon I started out just trying lasagna bites and Mac-n-cheese bites they turned out great!! Now to explore more creative dishes. The only negative that I have is there are no recipes included, if you can call that a negative. I absolutely love this air fryer already!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Mogwai from Very dissapointed Air Fryer no longer cooks I've had this air fryer for about 14 months. I was very pleased and happy with it as it made cooking so much easier. The handle on the basket did become loose over time and small screws did fall out a few times. I was still pleased with the air fryer despite this inconvenience, until today when it stopped frying the food. The air fryer still powers on and the settings work, but we were very dissapointed to find our food was not cooked. I noticed that there is no heat, so even though it still powers on it won't air fry or cook anything. Very dissapointed as I expected it to last for many years like all my other Oster products.

A couple of months ago when I tried to use it the appliance would start and then shut off and not restart again. This happened multiple times using multiple different plugs in my kitchen. I am extremely disappointed in this appliance and would never purchase anything from Oster based on how this appliance has worked (or not worked!) Since it is a little more than a year old it is out of warranty, which is even worse! Biggest waste of money!!

I’ve had the fryer for two years have not had any bit of trouble but one time my thumb pushed the tab forward and the outside basket fell on the floor and bent. It still works fine but it doesn’t keep the heat as consistent or get quite as hot. I have been trying to find some way to get a replacement outside basket but I’m having no luck the site they send me to says that model number does not exist so I would love some help from Ulster to replace the outside basket. I have enjoyed this air fryer enough to buy two more is gifts for other people and they are loving them

Rated 2 out of 5 by kels77 from Won't Turn On Anymore I used my airfryer *maybe* 10 times. One day it just randomly stopped working. Won't turn on at all anymore. Unplugged and replugged multiple times into multiple outlets, nothing.. I regret not reading the reviews before making this purchase since an overwhelming amount of them talk about this being an issue. It also didn't come with any sort of manual or instructions? And it was nearly impossible to find them online so I had to just wing it. I'm giving it more than one star because it did it's job well the few times I got to use it.

CARE AND CLEANING
Always unplug your Air Fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning it. NEVER immerse the MAIN body, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid. Never use harsh abrasive cleaners or cleaning materials. 
&bull; Carefully wipe any oil splatter from the heating fan cover with kitchen paper. Wipe over the outer body with a clean, slightly damp cloth and dry. 
&bull; Wash the removable cooking basket, cooking tray and handle with warm soapy water using a cloth, sponge or non-abrasive brush or on the dishwasher. Dry completely before use or storage. 
To remove the cooking basket from the tray: 
1. Slide the basket release shield forward. 
2. Press the basket release button 
3. To refit the basket to the cooking tray, position the basket over the top of the body then pivot the basket downward into place until the lock clicks.
