According to the product specifications, the Oster&reg; Compact Air Fryer Oven features 10 cooking functions: Air Fry, Bake, Broil, Defrost, Dehydrate, Pizza, Roast, Tender Roast, Toast, and Warm. The unit is specifically designed with additional heating elements and a perforated interior to improve air-fry performance. The Air Fry function uses forced hot-air circulation to create the crispy results associated with air frying. The Convection function is not listed as a separate cooking mode on this model. Instead, the air-circulation technology is integrated into the Air Fry cooking system. If you do not hear a fan while using the Air Fry setting, that is not necessarily an indication of a problem, as fan noise can vary and may be quieter than expected. The dimensions published by Oster here match my 7 year old Oster TSSTTVDGXL-SHP oven exactly, for usable area inside the oven. The TSSTTVDGXL-SHP has a slight domed shape in the back that for a 9x13 I can go in lengthwise instead of width wise. I just checked. Opened the door and inserted a metal Stanley tape measure below my roasting vegetables right this minute.. On a nice thick Martha Stewart 9x13 baking tray thats in there right now. If Oster's quality control continues to be exemplar, I gotta tell you, this is what I'll buy if my Oster TSSTTVDGXL-SHP gives up the ghost after 7 years but so far its just fine and dandy (except for the lack of an interior lamp, small detail.)
