Care & Maintenance
Always turn your unit off, Unplug and let it cool before cleaning. Do not submerge unit in water. To clean exterior wipe with a damp cloth. Use only mild soapy water. Clean the rack, trays and accessories with a small amount of dishwashing liquid and a non-abrasive sponge or cleaning pad. Empty crumb tray frequently to avoid accumulation of crumbs.

Does so much - compact and a great value
Toasts consistently and perfectly, heats items instantly - no pre-heating and waiting for a large gas oven to become the proper temperature. So great for every day smaller or medium-sized items. Compared to similar devices, some at much higher prices - it is also a great value.
I came to the site only because there have been times when I see that the toast is done, so I want to take out the bread and turn the dial to off. There seems to be some resistance in turning it back counter-clockwise. But from a comment below I see that, that is normal and will NOT harm the mechanism. So all good and I am pleased.

6 slice counter top convection oven
I'm sorry to hear all the problems some people had. I've been using it for about a month and am very pleased, as my oven is a rusted ancient electric one. This bakes perfectly. Only problem is that like every other toaster oven I've had, it is impossible to keep new looking. Once it gets stained, you cannot use an abrasive cleaner, and in the process of trying to find the model number, as I would like to order another wrack, I noticed the top is filthy, but I can only use a spray cleaner (I use a vinegar mix). So my questions are: 1-how can I order an additional rack and 2-How can I clean it?

Bake Function Does not Work
I bought this a few months ago at Target. The toast and broil functions work fine, and I can live with the popping noises due to expansion from the heat, but the bake function doesn't work properly at all. Asside from cooking a frozen pizza, nothing else seems to turn out. I had a casserole in at 450 for half an hour, and it was barely past room temperature.I just put some frozen, coated fish pieces in half an hour ago, and they are still not done. I have tried everything on bake as well as turbo, and at 450, but still not cooking enough. I got this with the expectation that I could cook things in it and not have to heat up my large oven, but so much for that! Very disappointed!

Durable, compact, and looking
Bought this a few years back. Wanted to try convection cooking. The difference between the regular toaster ovens and this was obvious. The food cooked more evenly. The oven was decently priced, looks good. Since it not electronic, instead has old school, knobs, there is not much to malfuction. The heating elements are metallic rods instead of ceramic/glass rods which tend to snap if handled roughly. For the price, this is a great product.
The only major drawback in my opinion is that there is no way to only turn on the bottom heating element. Either the top elements turns on (in Broil mode), or both top and bottom in other modes. Sometimes, you just want the food to heat from bottom. This oven does not do that.

Great for longer tasks, not great for toast
They really should take "toaster" out of the name. While it toasts the same way a full sized oven does, it has none of the toaster conveniences that have been around for more than 50 years. The only way simulate the automatic stop of a toaster is to set the timer, but that only works if it's set for 20 minutes or more (by which point your toast is charcoal. Other toaster ovens have much shorter timers for toasting. And there's no easy way to stop the timer once it starts other than forcing it back (how long is it going to last if I do that every day?) It's great for cooking small things for longer times, but it's a pain for the things most people think of as toaster oven tasks.

Weird noises
I purchased this oven at Target 3 weeks ago and unpacked it -taking care to remove all packing materials). and did the set up. The first time I turned it on ( the manual recommends a preliminary preheat) at 350 bake. There was a loud popping noise and the front left corner of the top of the black oven Exterior panel began to warp and dent. This was alarming ! I turned the oven off and it continued to make popping noises with not additional visual damage. Now it is cool and there is a permanent dent in the top corner . The next day I made toast. Again loud multiple popping noises . This is very weird. Two days later I tried the oven and it went ok but once it began to cool off more Very loud popping noises. At least 4 ensured. What is the cause? I the oven was NOT dented when I purchased it .

Better than any conventional oven
I've been using my oven for toast, most of the time. The timer isn't really easy to set for just a few minutes, but after a few tries I've figured out where to set the dial to get "perfect" toast. It's great to be able to see the bread turning to toast, unlike a regular toaster. I roasted sweet potatos, and they came out just fine. Yesterday was a total TRIUMPH...I roasted turkey thighs...used turbo, 300 degrees. Fell asleep and woke up to the most perfect roasted meat EVER! What was comforting was that because I had set the timer, even though I fell asleep, I didn't burn the meat and I didn't set the house on fire...easy to clean, and attractive. SO glad I got it!

Loving this new Oster convection/toaster oven, cooks, bakes and toasts great.
Only caution is that the outside does get very hot when in baking/convection/turbo mode. I have granite counter tops so the heat is not an issue. Just be cautious with the cord and move up away from the back counter space area to allow for heat and you are good to go.

Mine does the same thing. It is new, about 2 weeks old and I've nicknamed it &quot;Bang And Clang&quot;. I've owned maybe 6? toaster ovens of various brands over the years, Black and Decker, Oster, etc. I never had one that made these types of noises. Apparently, it is from the metal housing expanding/contracting during heating. I only use mine to toast things, never baking or broiling. It is a replacement for a stainless steel one, the same model, that failed recently (the timer went) during warranty so I'm not going to return it. But, if I have paid for it, I certainly would. Oster's engineers need to determine root cause of the banging noises and fix this annoying flaw. Also, it seems like the convection fan never comes on even in turbo mode, no fan noise at all, no air movement either. And I noticed there is a divot developing on top of the oven near the front right side corner, just to the left of the heat warning symbol so I guess the metal is warping even though I have never set the oven above 350 degrees or cycled it longer than five minutes. As well, it toasts unevenly and I have to watch it like a hawk lest I burn my toast. But, other than that ... Do better, Oster.
