Care & Maintenance

Always turn your unit off, Unplug and let it cool before cleaning. Do not submerge unit in water. To clean exterior wipe with a damp cloth. Use only mild soapy water. Clean the rack, trays and accessories with a small amount of dishwashing liquid and a non-abrasive sponge or cleaning pad. Empty crumb tray frequently to avoid accumulation of crumbs.

Have done air fry Chicken thighs and fries, turned out perfect. Finished off a steak in it, delicious. Made beer battered shrimp, crispy outside and yet still perfect inside. Baked brownies without burning. Fits a full 9 x11 baking pan. A whole large frozen pizza, perfectly crisp. Veggies baked good. Only thing I wish it had is a power off button, so I don't have to wait for it to cool down and move to constantly unplug, my outlet is not easily accessible and cord seems very short.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Niemand from Door hinge failed at 18 months. like others, the door hinge failed on my unit, completely disconnecting from the tension spring or whatever mechanism pulls it shut. It was well taken care of and used daily by my entire family. It was not the most consistent with toasting bread/bagels, but functional enough and was excellent for baking smaller items. It is frustrating to see that there are no parts available to repair the door, as I would not mind fixing it myself. What a waste. It would have been nice to have a longer warranty, but I guess Oster knows about how long they last and plans accordingly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JoelA from Safety is important The oven is normally has knob to prevent to be too close to the wall but it is located the middle of the pan but most counterpart in kitchen has 5cm clearance between the wall and the countertops this case not helping to prevent the cord not getting contact with the back of the oven which is very hot enough to melt the cord, Please do not get the oven close to the wall My case the plug and the oven back were glued because of heat and we were lucky to got it early before the plastic meltdown and the wire are exposed It will be very horrible accident due to electric shock

I was impressed with how it cooked an apple crumble to perfection. The air fryer did a fine job with a chicken breast, leaving it moist and perfectly cooked. (9 minutes at 350 and then I turned over and cooked 9 minutes at 375) The reason I am giving the product a single star is because the drip pan was impossible to clean after using it to catch drippings from the chicken breast. Before buying, I researched how easy the oven would be to clean. I also read the manual, and paid specific attention to how to clean. There was no way to clean up after this one-time simple use using soap and water. I ended up following online instructions to make a baking soda paste, that worked somewhat.

Rated 2 out of 5 by psjto from WRITTEN MANUAL IS A CHALLENGE For those of you looking for a manual for this oven, you are likely just as well off without it. It is written by someone with English as a second (or third) language, and is not intuative. Example: you have to press start button twice to by-pass preheat and go straight to cooking. My trials with French fries were dismal failures. I have not tried any functions other than regular toast and air fry. It is very attractive, and I like the French doors. It is very stylish. Included pans are difficult/nearly impossible to come completly clean. A HUGE improvement would be to have the instruction manual rewritten by someone whose first language is ENGLISH. I wanted to love this oven, but it is just not worth the investment.

As stated in the user manual's basic safety precaution #7, the use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries. Therefore, please contact any manufacturer of parchment paper or silicon mat to confirm if those drip liners can withstand the heat of the oven.

You may stop the air fryer function from blinking if you select it for use since it is normal for it to blink indicating that it is ready for use. Hope it helps.
