Care & Maintenance

Always turn your unit off, Unplug and let it cool before cleaning. Do not submerge unit in water. To clean exterior wipe with a damp cloth. Use only mild soapy water. Clean the rack, trays and accessories with a small amount of dishwashing liquid and a non-abrasive sponge or cleaning pad. Empty crumb tray frequently to avoid accumulation of crumbs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Blows from Maybe okay while it lasted. Just blew the outlets in my kitchen with no warning! It cooked things okay, but breads tended to burn. I was roasting some veggies and as the timer went off, it started buzzing really loudly. Had to unplug -- looks like it burned the outlet and blew the GFI outlet connected to most of the outlets in my kitchen. What a mess. Dangerous appliance.

I had to Get used to it it is quite different. from a regular oven and it does seem to cook things much faster? I don't know if I'm just being an idiot but it seems to intuitively know when things are done. I don't even set the timer. This entire unit is stainless so when you go to clean it even the drip pans get borax, its a stainless steel cleaner.stainless it is similar to comet but don't get comet get borax. That's the stainless steel cleaner. I'm selling it so I'm getting every tiny little speck And it looks brand new. The arm on mine came off twice that holds the door that's the only negative thing. I'll say that obviously needs to be addressed in fix and I would like to get some information on a recall. Or warranty. Repair. I've had it for year and a 1/2 and whoever I sell it to. I'm sure will have for a long time so highly recommend getting that repaired so that they can't have it for a very long time.

To cook at 275 (my go-to temperature) I had to set the control to 250, but that was OK. Recently it began going to 250 when I set 250....but when I set it to 275 it goes to 300. So I'm about to learn about the one year warranty. Wish me luck. Not sure what kind of rating to include, it depends on the company's response. I've had other Oster products and been pleased with them.

Of course, none of that matters since after only 21 months the rods in the bottom are no longer functional making broiling the only function that works! I'd always thought Oster was a top brand but I am rethinking that now. Sadly, another appliance in the landfill!

We Followed the instructions for the wings recipe in the manual., The fan does not help with smoke from greese dripping and the smoke was awful. the air fryer grate is difficult to clean and very sharp. I have used other air fryers and never exprienced smoke like this. I would not purchased another one of these models.

However, it is great for baking smaller amounts of food and I am finding a few things that are ok air fried. I was using the broiler today and the door snapped and fell open. Will not stay closed now, rendering it useless. Will be in touch with customer service to file a warranty claim.

Have owned 2 previous units model TSSTTVDGXL-SHP and have used them extensively and they have performed perfectly. Ordered this model for the added size and air fry option but disappointed size is missrepresented.

Now the door will not close, rendering my $130+ appliance useless, at barely over one year old. Do not buy this oven. There does not seem to be a way to repair it.

In fact, it worked great. 3 days later while roasting a pork loin, the front glass door shattered all over the kitchen. No one was anywhere near it. Nothing hit the door. Extremely dangerous.

Rated 4 out of 5 by dferron from Good Value Tried it out a couple of hours ago to bake a batch of Red Lobster cheddar biscuits. Success with both temp and time. I think that the material is a little light weight, but my opinion. The baking pan - for what? With the ridged bottom, can't use it for cookies or cake. It is pretty much useless. The description says that it will hold three 10.5x13 pans - supported on what? There is only one rack. I asked where I could buy another and returned with "let me know what is missing". Tried the same request a second time with basically the same answer. The cord is way too short, which is the complaint of many. Having to unplug to keep the light from blinking is crazy. There should be NO reason to have to unplug when not in use. I don't have to unplug my toaster, Keurig, Nespresso, or microwave since these are used daily. A printed cookbook would have been nice, but I understand the cost. Could make it and optional purchase. I would spend $5 for one. Don't really understand the poor rating on the site, but Amazon shows a 4.4 (86% rated 4-5). I would recommend the purchase of the three or four-year extended warranty and keeping the box if you can for return shipping if needed. Would I purchase again? Probably.

1. Select desired oven rack position. 
2. Arrange food on the Wire Rack, Air Fry Rack, Baking Pan, or in the Cookie Sheet.
NOTE: When air frying foods with high amounts of fat or grease, it is recommended to place the Wire Rack, with Baking Pan on top, in the bottom rack position to catch drippings during the cooking cycle.
3. Select the desired cooking function. (Air Fry)
4. Use the temperature arrow keys to select desired temperature and the time arrow keys to select desired time.
5. Select the Start button. When cooking is completed, open door fully and remove food carefully.

WARNING: Cooked food can be very hot. Handle with care. Do not leave countertop oven unattended.
