Rated 3 out of 5 by from No instructions for the "warm" function. Just got this oven as a Christmas present for my wife. So far all we have done is to read and try the instructions without doing any actual cooking. The control panel has a "warm" function. The instruction sheet has NO INSTRUCTIONS for the "warm" function. Perhaps there is no Chinese translation for the word, "warm" so they just ignored this. Who manufactures a product and writes an instruction sheet without even mentioning one of the control functions? This bodes ill for your product. I relied on the Oster name, but should have read these reviews first. I am now a bit apprehensive as to whether or not the controls are going to malfunction. If they do, I will be returning the product to Walmart for a refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from nice and big, cooks food quick i would give it 5 stars if the control panel worked properly. the start button never worked after about 1 week.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from disappointed I am disappointed in this unit. The first time I turned my oven on, I set it to 425 degrees to preheat. I have an oven thermometer in it and it never gets to the set temperature. It only gets to 350 degrees. I placed a pan of biscuits in it, and before they were done, it turned off and the temperature dropped to 205.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality I purchased two of the Oster® Extra Large Countertop Ovens. The first being the digital at Walmart and six months later the conventional at Sam's. My issue with the digital model was the broiler function - it didn't work. Turned the broiler function on and an hour later it was only at maybe 200 degrees. I didn't return it at time as I had misplaced the receipt. (Still have it). Six months later I purchased the non-digital version at Sam's and the thought it was OK but it took forever to get up to temperature. In addition the oven seemed to be burning the food. Purchased a thermometer to check the temp and low and behold it was approx 75 degrees higher than the set temp (set temp for 350 and it registered 425). Fortunately I was able to return it to Sam's. I thought I would give Oster another try but Sam's was out of that product. Since I still had the digital version and didn't have the time to find a replacement, I set it up again - broiler still didn't work but at least I could use the oven. Since I had the thermometer, I thought I would check the temp on the oven. Now the temp registers 25 degrees less than the set temp (set at 350 and it's really 325). Oster has been around for a long and I expected better quality. Also a plus would be to put a light in the oven.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Extremely Disatisfied As soon as I got the oven unpacked I realized I was missing the baking pan and owner's manual. I needed a toaster oven now and wasn't going to take time I didn't have to pack it up and return it. Contacted customer service and was told that was my only option. After seeing same oven at a friends house I realize that there should be two racks but I only have one. Read another review about a loud convection fan. I don't hear a fan at all and can only assume convection feature isn't working. Several times while cooking the timer beeped and oven turned off but I never set the timer. Oven door gets very hot. Have burned hand twice. Don't have box but will probably try to return when I can find time. Will not buy Oster again.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY THIS OVEN!! DOOR ISSUE I used this oven maybe 25 times, then the door hinge broke. Who would expect that?? Contacted Oster, they said sorry-not-sorry. Lifelong Oster customer but no more. Btw, their French door ovens had serious issues as well. I wish I knew before spending $160+

Rated 3 out of 5 by from poor quality workmenship on the door I purchase the extra large contertop oster over model ttssttvxldg after 3 years the door broke would not open all the way so had it replaced under the 5 yr warranty than in 3 year and 3 months the same thing happened to the door again. Seams like it only last 3 year before it breaks again. Not sure if want to get the same model again as might have the same problem. Also they have no recommended service centers for there product and have been around a long time. I have an oser bread maker never had an issue with it which is why i decided to purchase the contertop oven but it is not as good as far as the door goes. Other than that i works great. Not sure about recomending you get one of this mode as it is still sold on amazon.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Interior is rusting badly on oven. This oven works well. It’s my second Oster countertop oven, and my first is still working in my outdoor kitchen. The extra large, digital oven is rusting a little on both sides, but rusting badly at the back. What can I do to reduce the rust? Should I have “seasoned” the insides before using, like you do with cast iron? The older, smaller Oster has hardly any rust. Photos are of the newer Oster. Would the French Door model rust like this? Thanks.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Size Love the size of this and pretty much figured out how to use even though the book isn't great. One thing we cannot do is get the timer to shut off. We have tried everything and now when something is cooking/baking we have to stay close by because within 20 minutes the timer goes off and so does the oven. Becoming annoying to the point we don't want to use, thinking about going back to my little Black and Decker toaster oven which is a shame because this is beautiful and like I said the size fantastic. I've asked for help but no one seems to be able to assist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does everything we wanted except 16 pizzas We have had our over about a year now and use it for everything we want to roast or bake. It is consistant in it's quality and temperature control. The only short coming is that the buttons are a little stiff and the cavity is 15.5 inches so it will not take a full 16 inch pizza unless you trim it down to size. I bought a 16 inch pizza pan and had to return it because the only way it would fit is tilled and I couldn't close the door all the way.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Little instructions First of all, with one page of directions it does not help the average individual in working with this oven. Reading the directions is said to preheat the oven to set the temperature then push the timer arrow down until it reaches 7 minutes and then the oven will be preheated. When the timer reached zero it beeped and beeped and beeped and I tried hitting almost every button to stop the beating and ended up hitting the stop button which also turned off the oven which I had just preheated. I have spent hours on the internet trying to find more instructions but it looks like all her is, is the one page of them. As my mother said they use to at least include a little 6 or 7 page booklet with recipes and they did not even do that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to the kitchen! The Oster Extra-Large Digital Toaster Oven with Convection has been amazing! It has basically doubled my oven space without the cost of a double oven! It allows me to cook multiple items at the same time and even has a convection setting to cook faster. I had always wanted to try a convection oven and this was definitely the way to do it! It sits on top of my microwave so it doesn't take any extra counter space but even if it did it would be worth it. I have used it several times and it really helped me out in a pinch a few weeks ago. I love my new countertop convection oven! It says it will fit 2 16 inch pizzas and although I haven't tried it, I believe it! Disclaimer: I received this product as a sample to review, and am so glad I did! It would be well worth the price to buy one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far we love it! My husband and I were gifted this after our landlord said that we'd have to buy our own stove when the oven stopped working. My sweet hubby decided he knows everything (he does NOT) and threw the little manual guy out. I have been able to pretty much gather on the Internet, and learn what I needed with use. The pan that came with it, is that a baking pan or a drip pan? Are there video tutorials at all?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Major Time Saver! This toaster oven is not only huge, which allows me to cook more than one thing at once, but it also has very helpful & useful settings, which allow me to cook many different kinds of things in it. I love that I can cook 2 large pizzas in it at once, allowing my hungry crew to eat just as quickly as if I had heated up the big oven. I love that I no longer have to heat up the big oven though, which saves me so much time in the long run. I also love that this oven is so much quicker at baking things for me. I can put frozen hot dogs or cheesy sausages in it, and it's done in 15 minutes (on the Turbo Convection setting) as opposed to the 20 that it used to take in our old toaster oven. I'm very much looking forward to seeing what else this XL size countertop oven can do. Thank you, Oster, for making such a nice large oven that can do so many things (and do them so much more quickly for me)!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Non consistent temps. I bought my first oven (non digital) from a warehouse club. I noticed that the controls were off by 75 degrees. Well, I liked it so I just would do the math and set dial accordingly. I also used a temp gauge to ensure I got it right. That worked for awhile, but then it suddenly was only off 25 degrees, but I continued to use it and adjust. It continued to be off so I decided to take it back and get replacement. Well, the new one did the same thing. Starting off at 75 degrees off and it now is 25 degrees off. Because this has knob controls, I wonder if that is issue. I really like the oven, but am tired of having to adjust and check temperatures before starting to cook. My warehouse no longer carries the brand so I cannot exchange. Very frustrated!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great little work horse! Purchased this model 6,7 maybe more years ago. Works flawlessly. The oven is used every day, multiple times a day. A 9 or 10 pound turkey will fit. The outside does get hot enough to burn you so use accordingly. This oven will reduce bake times. You should cover things with parchment paper or foil until near the end of bake time. It's not a highend oven. For the price it can't be beat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOUD Buzzer I love this oven! In fact this is the second one I've bought. The first one I didn't keep as clean as I would have liked so this one is going to be cleaned more frequently. The only difference I have found is the LOUD buzzer at the end of cooking. The other one had a much lower sound. Is there a way to adjust the sound or muffle it in some way. It is at piercing as an alarm!

I received this oven from a friend this past August as a present. She knew that I was in need of a extra large version of toaster oven so I was so excited to try it out.I was surprised to be able to cook 2 trays at a time!!!awesome oven until start button stopped working...I see it s a common issue.i called oster but they told me that the 5yrs warranty is expired last november !!!are you kidding me?so practically my friend bought this 5 yrs before give it to me!!unfortunately she doesnt have the receipt anymore so I m so disappointed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Designed for 2 Months NOT life This toaster worked well for the first 2 months, although the back left gets hotter and can over cook your food in that area. At the 2 month mark a few of the touch pad buttons quit working including the most important one " STOP " I had to unplug it from the wall while it was still cooking because I couldn't shut it off. This is a Extremely Dangerous issue !! Not only did the Stop button quit working so did the Broil button also. When spending $100 + for a toaster oven you don't expect issues like this especially after 2 months. My wife has a toaster oven that is ugly as can be but still after 5 years it works like a champ. Too bad, I did like the look of this oven but it's unreliable, and the touch pad issue seems to be the biggest problem with it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent. The best counter top oven available I bought this oven about five or six years ago, I use it every day. In fact I no longer use my regular oven oven. It’s hard to find a counter top oven as large as this. I bake bread, pies, full sheets of cookies and all sorts of casseroles and roasted veggies. In fact just about anything you can think of except maybe a large turkey or ham. It’s great. The settings are excellent, I use the pizza setting at least once a week and it results in a perfectly baked pizza every time. I can’t say enough good things about this excellent oven.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great oven I really like this oven. The first dish I made was a lasagna in a 13x9 casserole dish so it is very roomy. I was not sure what to expect because I have never had a counter top oven. It cooked in about the same amount of time as the oven in my home. But because the oven is smaller it did a better job of browning the top of the lasagna and the dish came out perfect. Fridays are pizza night in my home and we always buy two pizzas for the kids. I love that the oven can cook two 16 inch pizza at a time so the kids are not fighting over slices. A couple of drawbacks: preheating the oven is inconveinent and the up and down arrow keys for the timer and temp setting are annoying. I would like to be able to enter the temp. and time. I do love the look of brushed stainless steel and the sleek design. It looks very modern. Overall, I think it is an awesome oven and great value. I received this product as a sample to review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Countertop oven I received this oven as a sample. At first I was overcome by the size of the product, but after using it over and over I have come to love it! I still believe it is too large and bulky for my kitchen, but I believe it would be great for a small apartment for dorm room. I have cooked casseroles to cookies in this thing and it has done a phenomenal job! I love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cooks great! I enjoyed using the Extra-Large Digital Toaster Oven. It was easy to use. The foods I prepared in the toaster oven cooked evenly. The extra large oven is useful for family gatherings or large meals when another oven is needed. I've used the oven for casseroles, cookies, and pizzas. Everything comes out great! Disclaimer-I received this oven as a sample to test.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beats them all. I've had several toaster ovens in my life but NOTHING compares to this oven. In fact, we haven't used our regular oven in two years. I can bake a 9x13 cake in it and I have a roaster to cook a large turkey, so I haven't need the 220v energy oven so it saves money on the electrical expenses. Oster, never replace this oven. I couldn't live without it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Worth what we paid but... We bought ours a couple years ago at Wal-Mart. Loved not having to use my oven so this was great. Within a couple months it started wigging out. Set the temp, set the time and start. All of a sudden I look and the timer was going fast so I felt it was going to be done in half the time. Contacted manufacturer, wow, they sent us a brand new one and let us keep the old one but told us to just cut the cord and trash if. Of course we still have it. But today I decided to put my temp gauge inside and see how the temp was ,if off off what because lately when we set something for say 20 minutes like the instructions say our food burns. It's as if if instructions say cook time is 20 minutes, set time for 10. Today I decided to put my temp gauge inside and see what happens. I set the temp for 350 and time for 20 minutes. It never reached e50 with that time, it l my got to 325. It does hold 2 good size pizzas. We cook in it a lot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Mis-information I bought this but found that the dimensions of the size are not accurate and needs addressed! I thought I was buying a larger oven but received the smaller one... Model #TSSTTVDGXL Oyster website lists the oven as 24"Lx21.5"Wx16.7"H I received the oven with the same part number with these dimensions 19.2W"x21.65L"x12.91H" Big difference!

I love this for my kids simple to use and the kids have been from when we got it. I've baked pizza, cookies, beef patties and bread etc it's great. It's a well used item in my kitchen. I got this free to use and review but I tell you I'm happy and so is my family we have it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spacious awesomeness I rated this product an overall 5! It's spacious, has plenty of options for every scenario. It's light but great quality. It's an awesome way to save on electricity and doesn't heat your whole house the way an oven does. The only drawback is it's short power cord can make it hard to find a place for it in the kitchen.

If your countertop oven is not turning on, it might be because the unit is not getting enough power from the wall outlet where it is currently plugged in or the wall outlet itself is a non working outlet. To remedy this issue, check if there is no physical damage on its cord and if there's none, try unplugging the coffee brewer and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. Plug the unit into a different wall outlet and see if it will work. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the countertop oven's performance.

Your countertop oven has a year limited warranty. Some models may take longer time. The positioning of the elements may also be a reason why the oven is preheating longer. We are sorry if the top heating element does not seem to get as hot as the bottom heating element. That is not the kind of experience that we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help. There is a pre-heating time in this oven in which the element cycles are on and off. Even when an element is on, it may not glow. This does not mean it is not working properly. It simply means the internal oven temperature has been reached, and the element does not need to get so hot that it glows. Even in the Bake cycle, the upper heating elements in a toaster oven will cycle on and off to maintain an even temperature throughout the cavity. If the food is undercooked in the center but cooked on the outside, we suggest setting the thermostat slightly lower than the recommended package directions. If the food is burned on the bottom, we would suggest using the higher rack position. If this has been tried before, we suggest using a light-colored pan like aluminum. If the food is undercooked, lower the rack position. If this has been tried before, change to a dark baking pan. These small changes can make a big difference in a small oven.

Your countertop oven has a year limited warranty.
