Care & Maintenance

Always turn your unit off, Unplug and let it cool before cleaning. Do not submerge unit in water. To clean exterior wipe with a damp cloth. Use only mild soapy water. Clean the rack, trays and accessories with a small amount of dishwashing liquid and a non-abrasive sponge or cleaning pad. Empty crumb tray frequently to avoid accumulation of crumbs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by sml929 from Large Oven, Short Cord The Oster Extra-Large Digital Toaster Oven with Convection Bake is an attractive secondary oven. I like the stainless steel look although the surface can get fingerprinted with use. I have made pizzas in this oven with good results. I also made a cake that turned out really well. The controls are easy to use and clean up was quick. This oven is definitely Extra Large and takes up a good amount of space on the counter. I would use this oven as a secondary oven to use in large meal preparation but I don't think I would use it as a replacement for a full size oven. The biggest complaint I have with this oven is the extremely short cord to plug it in. The manufacturers say that you can use an extension cord but it shouldn't be necessary unless you want to plug it in a great distance. This short cord limits the placement of the oven in the kitchen. Overall, I am pleased with the features and will use it for preparation of large meals where you need different oven temperatures for different items. I would also use it for quick heating or baking. I wonder if I would use it enough to make up for the loss of counter space. I received this oven as a sample to try out and review.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ELFi from Love the oven, but .... I got this oven two and a half years ago. I love it. It has been consistent and easy to use. The size is great and I prefer it to my wall oven. The only issue I'm experiencing is where to get another rack for it. I want another rack so I can cook on two (or 3) tiers. I can't locate one anywhere. I called oster, and they couldn't help, which was surprising. How is it possible that they were unable to direct me where to find replacement or additional parts? Please help!

Rated 1 out of 5 by PitMom from Loved it at first I got this as an engagement present. It worked GREAT for the first year then not so much. I used it all the time. It WAS a great little machine. First problem was the door wouldn’t open all the way then the bottom heating element stopped working all together. It’s less than 2 years old. I had a cheap toaster oven that I had for years with no issues. Maybe this was just a dud but I wouldn’t waste my money as these seem to have the same issues with many other people.

Sure, it takes up a lot of counter space (not including the handle, it's approximately 14” deep, 21-1/2” long and 13” high), but it isn't heavy and was easy to set up. After a month of use, it has become the go-to appliance in our kitchen. Love the roomy interior--there's plenty of room for pizzas, casserole dishes, and smaller cookie sheets and roasting pans--and it is an added convenience to have two racks included. The digital display is simple and intuitive. The TOAST function is especially handy for multiple slices and I now use it instead of our regular 2-slice toaster. The PIZZA function is pre-programmed to bake a pizza up to 16” in diameter at 400° for 20 minutes. (I manually set temps or times for pizzas that require different settings.) The BAKE and WARM settings were great for pie or rolls this Thanksgiving. The CONVECTION bake features saves time and energy--no more microwave baked potatoes for us! Cleanup is easy and this oven feels durable and well-made. Disclaimer: I was provided with this oven as a sample to review, but all opinions are my own. In fact, I've been so pleased with it that I've already recommended it to several friends.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Randy J from Not good for making bread, pies, cakes etc. I just got mine replaced because the bottom of my baked goods kept coming out next to raw with the tops burnt. For baking meats and potatoes it is great. Just wish I could do pastry and stuff such as bread, pies, cornbread, cakes and such since this is my main oven. I feel it is a design flaw as to being an oven. It is an over sized toaster oven and not a counter top oven. I have several ideas for improvements but I doubt if they would be taken seriously.

However, after the first month, the start button stopped working properly. Shortly after that the stop button began to malfunction as well. Now, after four months of limited use, the face plate that has the key pads is beginning to detach from the unit and all the buttons are not working. Big disappointment! I would give this item 0 stars if I had that option.

It has all the settings that I want/need and heats up quickly. Perfect for rehearing or cooking something fresh. It has plenty or room. Rated 1 out of 5 by bepositive35 from Temperatue a huge problem! This oven is huge problem! My oven go too high from the desired temperature. I have FOUR oven thermostat to test it. It goes to 525 on 450 and 400 on 350. It burned my food even chicken nuggets! This oven doesn't have option for temperature adjustment to make it perfect. My old oven from different company used to have the same problem but it have option for temperature adjustment and I got it fixed myself and had no problem with it for 10 years! This oven is no good without option to adjust the temperature! I even tested my regular oven and older toaster oven with my four oven thermostat and it all show perfect correct temperature on desired temperature! It burned my food all the time even chicken nuggets, corn dogs, etc! I have replaced this oven FIVE times and all do the same thing! It would solve a problem hugely and be a perfect oven if this company added the adjustment for temperature to fix the temperature! But also it have very short cord only about 2 feet! Very difficulty to store your oven next to outlet. It is not safe to add longer cord because it can cause the fire cuz this oven use about 1500 watts! Not safe for regular longer cord. You have to buy special correct extra cord to add. Not the regular or cheap extra cord! My older toaster oven have 5 feet length cord!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Thomas W from Oster® Extra Large Digital Countertop Oven we have had this unit only a short time and it has worked great up until today ,I loved the ease of use and the controls were very easy to use , It always cooked everything exactly as it should , this was my first time owning a toaster oven , The controls were simple to use allowing a consistent temperature with a pretty large capacity now with all that being said In the middle of trying to Cook a pie for Thanksgiving day 11/27/2025 I came up from putting laundry in the washing machine to find this unit just stopped working , I thought maybe it tripped a breaker in my fuse box only to find that was not the issue , i tried a separate outlet an this unit still wouldn't do anything So i decided to take it apart to see if it was something i could potentially fix my self ,I was not impressed to find that the main power lead had fried the control board and left a scorch mark I included Photos of my unit as well as the control board .I notice in the other reviews a customer had the very same issue and she was told it ii is rare i am here to say it happened to me , I thought this was a brand i could count on and trust and i am second guessing that idea I am not really sure how old this unit was but it had not been used more than 50 times and for the cost of 170$ i find it unsatisfactory

Rated 2 out of 5 by gordor from disappointing I received this oven as a gift with no receipt of course. I liked the idea of an extra large countertop stainless electronic oven. The first time I tried to bake a pizza in it I gave up after an hour and moved the oven to an unused counter. I next tried to cook some frozen chicken pieces per the cooking instructions and again had to give up and finish in my old toaster oven. I tried baking, baking with the fan and broiling but I could never get the oven to heat above 325 on an oven thermometer even after an hour. After some troubleshooting with a multimeter I determined that the upper oven element was dead; No problem I will just order a new element. The problem is there appear to be no parts available. I tried the local appliance parts places and everything I could think of on the internet ... no joy. Oster, I know you show no parts for this almost new oven but can you please let me know where I might locate a new upper element?

Rated 2 out of 5 by all the nicknames used from Not worth the money This was bought for me as a Christmas gift in 2014. It was ordered online and I picked it up in January 2015. It is made very cheaply and arrived with a dent on the one side which I didn't notice for several months. It was used ocassionally for baking or roasting. After about 8 months, the "Bake" button wouldn't work, so I couldn't use it any longer. Also, the clock on it never kept the right time, which makes me wonder if the timer was ever accurate.

We have totally ceased using our conventional stove oven and the two slice toaster is about to go as well...... I'm embarrassed to admit not trying the toast setting until about 3 months ago........much better! (just watch the bread as it will brown quickly.) This is absolutely the best oven we have had in our 40+ years of marriage.

In addition to being very light, making it easy to stow when not in use, the stainless steel outside is very attractive and the oven matched my other kitchen appliances perfectly! Right from the box the setup was simple and the included user instruction were extremely clear and easy to follow. I was very pleased at how cool the Countertop Oven stayed while in use, the only thing I will note I the glass oven door does understandably get hot while in use during the oven & convection mode, so caution should be used if using in a location with children or pets who may jump up on the counter. This is not a criticism of the oven at all, just a note for responsible operation. The Countertop Oven heats quickly - just push the digital button and you are done! I found while baking and toasting the heat evenly distributed throughout the oven and baked a variety of cakes, cookie, pies & pizza with great success! I was also extremely happy that the unit cooled off quickly once it was turned off. Overall, the Oster Digital Countertop Oven is a very welcome addition to my kitchen. I was provided with this Oster Extra Large Digital Countertop Oven as a sample for review but my opinions and experiences on this oven are completely my own.

Not all I can tell you is that the ovens offered by this company is absolute garbage, do not buy and always avoid, buttons stopped working within the year and is a fire hazard, avoid this company at all costs. Products are completely trash, I used to buy everything that was oster cause of their reliability, now is an absolute lie!

I talked to customer Service and they sent me a new oven to replace the one that stopped working. When I called I didn't expect anything. I was so pleased they went out of their way to send me a replacement. I truly feel the replacement works better than the original. It works great. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for an oven of this type. Thank you Oster!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by JoeZ from PIECE OF GARBAGE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY LIKE ME! I bought this unit 3 weeks ago. Today I am TRYING to roast a 4 pound corned beef brisket. The instructions say to roast at 300 degrees for one hour per pound, in this case 4 hours. Now I find out the oven does NOT have a "Stay on" feature, that the timer will allow it to stay on for no more than 90 minutes! If I knew that before I bought it I would have purchased something different. I wish I could give it a rating of a negative number of stars!

Worked great at first, then the bake would not advance about 350 degrees, then the broiler digital control went out, now the cancel button dose not work! This is a know n problem if you read many of the other comments. The Oster brand used to stand for quality. We have had other Oster products but this is the last one. Oster will loose me and others as a customer unless they fix this faulty design.

Two months after using it, it began cutting off intermittently. If I set it to bake and set the time, the whole unit would shut down; display goes off. I unplug it and plug it in again; nothing. Now it's just taking up space on my counter. I really don't want to trash it, I just purchased it four months ago. Well past my return time for QVC.

I purchased this one as I was unable to find anyone within 200 miles that could repair the first one. Wouldn't you know the second one worked correctly 3 times, then like the first it would only go to 300 degrees and after 2 hours still at 300 degrees I unplugged. Contacted Amazon, who directed me to an Oster website for repair, which in turn gave me an error message.

Rated 2 out of 5 by ms7260 from Large enough but..... I bought this oven to replace one that died in Dec 2015. I like the size of it but my issues are the buttons and the timer. The timer does not keep accurate time at all, even the clock, which I don't use, goes forward 2 minutes for every 1 minute. also it does not cook evenly things in the back cook fast and burn before the things in the front even get warmed up. This is my only oven, I do not have a conventional one. I am very disappointed.

I USE IT EVERYDAY, 2-3+ TIMES A DAY, & I've only had it 2 wks & could kick myself for not BUYING IT SOONER!!! IT IS PERFECT FOR BIG FAMILY DINNERS WHEN MY REG SIZE OVEN CAN'T HOLD ANYMORE, IT HANDLES THE OVERFLOW & COOKS FASTER THAN MY REG SZ OVEN, with out all the heat too & it is NOT LOUD AT ALL. I have read other reviews on OTHER BRAND models of how loud they are but don't worry- this oven is NOT! The Extra lrg sz is so convenient, it is huge-like a standard microwave & IT DOES FIT "2" 9X13 PANS WITH THE STANDARD SZ HANDLES. I HAVE COOKED "2", 4 TO 5 lb. LIL HENS ON TOP RACK & ASPARAGUS WRAPPED W/BACON ON THE BOTTOM RACK AT THE SAME TIME! Tip for you guys-simply take the top rack out of its rack holding slots(slider) & place it on top of the rack holder, it gives just a lil more room for the bottom rack, that's how I use it most of the time. I have used ALL the features & they ALL are great. I have cooked pizza's, casseroles, whole chickens, biscuits, muffins, toast, cornbread(in the large cast iron pan too!), I could go on. I have used light/dark pans-glass-aluminum-ceramic & cast iron as well & haven't had any issues, I mainly use glass just because its my favorite to bake with. I use this in place of my standard oven ALL THE TIME! I do not have any problems with this oven either-DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR "GO BUY ONE"

This one is even better if that is possible. We like homemade pizza and this darling cooks it to perfection! Was able to cook to full size pies in it when all my children came to dinner. This freed up my regular oven for the larger items. I sent my mother one and both of my daughters. Great product.

It has been in the box for a couple of months. I broke it out of the box because the curiousity was killing me. It worked great for a few short items, but then started leaking all over the counter top. I am still trying to sell my house and downsize, but this is not the answer that I hoped it would be. of course it is passed the return period

I bought one had it for about a year used it a couple of times but was so pleased with it I bought a 2nd one when my big range crapped out and I needed to do a lot of baking. The first one stopped working literally the code is showing up as "shade" and a number 4. No where in the manual does it explain what this means and I haven't found an explanation anywhere yet. Is this fixable and is it worth fixing for the price point?

I cook everything I would cook in a normal oven, I usually go down a little on the temp but I cook pizza, cookies, chicken, other meats, any thing you can think of you can cook it in here. I will definitely keep it around even once I have a actual oven.

The glass is so hot as is the top. I will not use it when the grandbaby is here for fear that she will end up with a bad burn...this is a safety issue for all ages and needs to be fixed. Other than that I like the way it cooks. Woudn not recommend until this problem is fixed. Only complaint I have.

Runs like a champ while not having to use my full oven except for special occasions. New wife loves it too. Fits a 13x9 Pyrex baking dish as well as a 15 inch round pizza stone. If Oster would remodel I would add a 3rd height adjustment for better 2 tier cooking and a stronger fan for air frying but overall this has been great!

It's very easy to operate and has a large inside capacity to hold food. It cooks very well, however, it shuts off after 30 minutes of use. Doesn't matter how long you set the timer for or whether it's on bake or convection mode, it just ENDS after 30 minutes of use. I don't understand why it has a timer because it's going to shut down no matter what time you set it for. I called customer service and was on the phone for 90 minutes. Nothing was resolved. They foffered me a replacement but a different model because my model was out of stock and there was no ETA on incoming stock. I didn't want a different model because I like the looks and features of the one I ordered so I'm going to keep it and make 30 minute meals. It should come with Rachel Ray's cookbook .
