Care & Maintenance

Always turn your unit off, Unplug and let it cool before cleaning. Do not submerge unit in water. To clean exterior wipe with a damp cloth. Use only mild soapy water. Clean the rack, trays and accessories with a small amount of dishwashing liquid and a non-abrasive sponge or cleaning pad. Empty crumb tray frequently to avoid accumulation of crumbs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MelH from Large, yes, but annoying We purchased this model mostly for the size and the digital controls. We had a medium sized Cuisinart that got us through a kitchen remodel where we had no stove or oven for a couple of months. We wanted something that would basically be a second oven and fit my most-used 9x13 pan. This one fit that. We got it home and I went to make cookies in it while the big oven had 4 pans of ziti cooking. Every time I went to make any time adjustment I had to restart it. From the preheating for 7 minutes (as per the instructions) to needing to add time when the cookies needed a little longer, I had to stop it and start again. When the timer goes off the only option is to hit the stop button (which the instructions do not address). Plus I had to leave it heating for a little bit between batches and it shut off on its own (in much less than the advertised 90 minutes). And I agree with others on the buttons. They are very difficult to know that they are being pressed and just have an overall uncomfortable feel. Needless to say, this is going back and our $5 Cuisinart from Goodwill is back on the counter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jsupermario from Formidable performance...as well as size Whether it's cooking a whole chicken, heating up frozen foods, or simply toasting bread, the Oster Extra Large Toaster Oven performed excellently. I have no issues with the product regarding its performance or variety of cooking functions. The turbo convection feature allows you to cook food evenly and quickly; it's pretty awesome. The reason I did not give it a 5 is due to its large size. While my kitchen has plenty of counter space, compared to my other small kitchen appliances, the size of this toaster oven is somewhat overwhelming. It's like it wants to be noticed. For those with limited counter space or small kitchens, I would not recommend this product. If counter space is not an issue and you are looking for a multi-function toaster oven, then I would say this product is for you. I wish to mention that I did receive the toaster oven for free in order to test and provide my opinion. This did not, in any way, influence my assessment of the toaster oven. Lastly, having received the toaster oven for free and not having researched it's price, I cannot offer valid feedback regarding its value.

Didn't expect it to work so well and it's so much more convenient than my standard stove oven. I find myself using it practically every other day. I bake cakes and muffins without hesitation because its so convenient now. I am also more adventurous to try recipes because I can make smaller portion to to sample. I didn't give this oven 5 star because there are some much needed features to be added. My improvements would be: 1. It takes too long to make basic toast so I have to still use my regular toaster to do that; improving this feature is needed. 2. The display words are so microscopic its hard to tell what they words are; would love it if Oster can make them much much more readable. 3. And finally not always sure that the oven is on when I press start; if Oster can add a bright illuminating light to this button would be great. 4. And last but not least, adding an oven light to make it easier to see the food without opening the door and pulling the item out would be fantastic.

Place oven rack into the desired position before heating the oven.
Push the Bake button.
Use arrows to set desired temperature.
Push Timer &lt;down button until seven (7) minutes is displayed.
Push the Start button.
