Care & Maintenance

Always turn your unit off, Unplug and let it cool before cleaning. Do not submerge unit in water. To clean exterior wipe with a damp cloth. Use only mild soapy water. Clean the rack, trays and accessories with a small amount of dishwashing liquid and a non-abrasive sponge or cleaning pad. Empty crumb tray frequently to avoid accumulation of crumbs.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mrs Smith from Does not broil I’ve had my oven for about one year. It works just ok. It’s one of the lower quality toaster ovens I have owned. It doesn’t maintain heat. My cooking times have to be extended anywhere from 15-30 minutes longer, depending on what I am making. My last loaf of sourdough bread didn’t bake, even with an extra 20 minutes on the time. I had to throw it out. It seems that one year in, it’s become extremely undependable and I need to replace it. As other reviews have stated, the broiler feature has never worked. And that’s a feature I depend upon. I cannot recommend this oven.

I bought one fromWalmart, unit didn't work so I took it back to get another. It didn't work either but being ignorant to the whole thing, I figured I was the mistaken one. After reading these reviews, I find that it is the oven all along. Unfortunately, I bought this a while ago and have no receipt, it's well used and I'm sure I have no recourse. But to anyone who may be interested in this product, beware of the broiler setting. I did give it four stars because I like the unit for other settings, but definitely not the broiler.

Not so happy right off the bat!!

Another problem is trying to open the doors without potholders. Because of the gap and heat, the handles are very hot. After trying to cook chicken, still raw after 30 minutes.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Oster Oven Torture from Tick tock tick tock tick tock Seriously Oster!!? Holy cow am I dissatisfied. First off, you cannot turn this oven on without using the timer, which only goes to 60 mins. So if you need to bake or roast for longer than 60 mins. you need to be there when the timer runs out, which will TURN THE OVEN OFF, in order to reset the timer and continue cooking. BUT, that’s not the worst of it. As if that feature only is not annoying enough, it makes a TICK TOCK TICK TOCK timer noise the entire cooking time. Sitting in the same room with this audible torture device is anxiety inducing. I’m so sad I’m stuck with this thing. I hate it.

Can you issue a corrective action to your engineering departments? Obviously, there’s an electrical system design or manufacturing process issue.

My wife wanted this one because of the French open doors. Unfortunately, from almost the beginning the french doors would jam and would not close. You have to keep wiggling the doors, hoping not to break them in order to finally get them to close. It may be fine for a few weeks but then will once again jam in the open position. I have finally had enough with this oven. At some point it will likely stay jammed open and become unusable and I do not want to be stuck without one as we use this oven more than our large kitchen oven. Very disappointed. Our next one will not be Oster.

I just wish it had come with a cook book explaining how long it takes to cook different foods, and the temperature in which to set it at. My Oster can bake, air fry, broil, plus has a turbo setting for an even faster cooking method that sends hot air while baking to make it bake faster. I'm just amazed at what it can do and cook, and even has a timer that goes off so you don't forget about the food that has been cooked. Each day is a new experience, and I'm learning different ways to please my family with new meals. Love it!

It comes with the air fryer rack, a metal rack, and a crumb pan. You can easily open both of the French doors with one hand. There is an automatic shut off 60 minute timer. It toasts, bakes, broils, and air fries. It takes less time than a regular convection oven, and still crisps your food. Ideal for warming take home leftovers without leaving them soggy. The racks are adjustable and removable for easy cleanup.

Without warning, the right oven door exploded in my hand while opening to retrieve the food. Glass was everywhere, which resulted in several cuts. This item really needs to be reevaluated. This is not from neglect or abuse. This was normal use.

It actually takes longer to cook than just using our microwave or regular oven - definitely much longer than our original airfryer. Also know that it gets EXTREMELY hot to the touch on the top and front - as well as the doors, something to consider if you have younger children. The gap in between the french doors lets far too much heat escape which hinders the cook time - it may be for "air exchange" but it isn't efficient. Would not buy again. Went with this one due to the Brand Name.

The fact that you can make toast all the way to a steak in here blows my mind! I would recommend this product if your looking for a multi functional appliance in your kitchen. Our favorite things we have made it in so far are bagels, pizza, and fries. All turned out sooooo amazing and delicious. Me being the clean freak I am I am always looking for something easy to clean and this definitely is. If has a drip pan that catches all the crumbs you just slip that right out and wash it. I couldn’t say good enough things about this product. I highly recommend!

I recommend that anyone who gets or has one of these to buy a thermometer that you can put in the oven. After burning a few batches of cookies, I knew something was up. I put my thermometer in the oven and turned it up to 350 degrees. Come to find out, my oven ran consistantly 25 degrees hotter than the selected temp. Once I found this out, everything was almost perfect. The only other thing I recommend is to turn what ever it is your cooking every so often. I found that the back also gets warmer than the front.

Granted it's a lot bigger then what I'm use to, but in the end I get more counter space back because I'm removing two other appliances. We are a family of 6 so the quick heating up time is important. The first time making muffins I completely burned them.... MY FAULT because I wasn't use to a quality product that heats up so quick. My second batch came out perfect, much quicker and more evenly cooked then the regular oven would make them. I don't have to heat up the whole house anymore either. That's a huge energy saver when the summer comes. While this feature may seem petty, I love the doors. I love that I don't get crumbs stuck between the glass of the door, that was such an OCD trigger of mine with the last toaster over that hand a pull down door. Now I just wipe the bottom off and it's clean becausethe doors swing to the side. Reheating pizza in the microwave is soggy, but in this air fryer oven it's quick and crisp. The controll knobs are self explanatory, easy to use and read. Oster did a great job making this user friendly.

I wish I had kept my old one I am thoroughly disgusted by this new French door Oster toaster oven and should have looked at the reviews before I purchased it. The amount of heat that escapes through the French doors is enormous! It cooks uneven and the knobs are functionally obsolescent. If I have the opportunity to return us after having it for about 30 days I would jump on it and then buy any other brand but Oster!

Today, when she was using it, one of the glass doors exploded and there were shards of glass all over her kitchen. Thank goodness she was in a different room at the time. She could have been seriously hurt. Definitely not acceptable that this can happen with this product. Would never purchase this oven again.

Then the doors wouldn't stay all the way closed, we dealt with that, Then a few days ago we heard a loud strange sound coming from it and then it completely stopped working. We cant find the receipt and we trashed the original boxing so we can not return to Walmart or file a claim with Oster. $169 we can never get back.

I love how it has the air fryer setting, I was wanting to buy an air fryer for a while now. This oven also replaced my smaller version I had. I was surprised how big this thing was, needed to get used to it but love how I can fit a whole 12 inch pizza in it. Works well, very easy to use and I love how fast it heats up, definitely need to watch your food in the beginning to prevent burning but love it, has been the most used kitchen item lately in our home:)

Just found out he didnt get any of the racks to use it right and I cant find the racks anywhere to replace them so $160 wasted. I am so mad. Store wont take back or sell me racks from floor model. Looked at ereplacement and other web sites oster has on their site wher to get but none of them have the racks.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Done with it from Temperature is unreliable Over the last 3 years I tried 3 of these ovens and all 3 had the same problem....the temperature is not accurate by 50 degrees or more. The last oven was a replacement sent by the company with the promise that the thermostat was fixed...NOT. I am disappointed because you can't find another oven of this size, but wish they would get the thermostat problem fixed.

She used PAM on the tray at the very beginning, and it burnt on. I have been trying to get it clean for 3 months. I'm getting my grinder out next, or sulfuric acid. I know that will destroy the tray, but at least it will look nice. It'll make a good boat anchor. Let me reiterate, She is an excellent cook. It uses 1700 watts of electricity for twice as long as a microwave. My electric company charges double rates during the dinner cooking hours. We don't use it for both reasons. Fish come out mushy. Steaks are dry. Pork chops are dry also. No flavor whatsoever. Tator tots and french-fries came out good, but I'm a meat person. I can't live on potatoes,

My food cooked through and to my desired done-ness without needing to restart the oven multiple times. I love the air frying capabilities and my food is always crisp, yet tender and juicy. The reason I’m giving it 4-stars is because it pops loudly on one side during the cooking process. I’m not sure why it does this but it’s a little startling. It would also be great if this Oster® Manuel French Door Air Fry Oven had a built in light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ken3 from Best Air Fryer, Period! I have owned 3 air fryers now, and this sweet piece of cooking equipment takes the cake! (no pun intended) There is ample room in this fryer to cook both sides and a main course, if you choose to do so. It's also a breeze to clean thanks to the French doors, as apposed to the usual drop down doors that are clearly inferior in quality. I recommend this air fryer to anyone that has owned air fryers in the past and was unsatisfied, or absolutely anyone that has yet to use one. They're worth every penny!

2. Pour the baking soda in the bowl.
3. Slowly add water to the baking soda to make a paste. It should be about the consistency of shaving cream.
4. Spread the paste on the inside of the oven window.
5. Let this sit for around 15 to 20 minutes.
6. Moisten a clean microfiber cloth and wipe the paste away.
7. If any stuck-on gunk remains, use the razor blade to gently scrape it away. Make certain to use the flat edge and not the corner so that you don&rsquo;t scratch your glass.
8. Repeat steps 1 through 7 as needed.
9. Use a dry microfiber cloth to buff out any streaks in the glass.

Make sure you are wearing cotton gloves or using a tissue when handling the bulb. Stop turning the bulb when you feel it is firmly seated. Be careful not to over-tighten the lightbulb.
