very disappointed
My husband bought me a 20" like this last year and I was so excited until I started using it. The thermostat on it is really bad. Pancake mix instructions say to cook them at 375F but when I do that they burn. I have to set it at 275F. Also the thermostat kicks off and on and I Have to keep turning the temp up and down while I'm cooking. In addition to that, the heating element does not heat the surface evenly and I have to move the food around to cook it evenly. Part of a pancake cooks right, part does not and I have to turn them around and move them to cook them properly. I'm very disappointed and do NOT recommend this.

Reliable appliance
I have been able to successfully plug the appliance into the outlet unlike some of my peers. I continue to stack success upon success for more than five years at this point. When I use the ceramic surface it brings me joy.

Don’t waste your money
I’m so disappointed with this appliance. It doesn’t maintain an even temperature, and the surface heats unevenly making it impossible to make a simple pancake! There should be a refund available or a recall when a purchase performance is terrible. I would discourage anyone from buying this brand.

Like most electric griddles, it features removable temperature controls and a drip tray, which allow for easier cleaning, but the main cooking unit itself should not be submerged in water. If the power plug does not go into the griddle, please review the following steps and suggestions to resolve the issue: Check Alignment The power probe (temperature control plug) must be inserted precisely into the socket on the side of the griddle. Make sure: The plug is oriented correctly; it should not require excessive force. The prongs are aligned with the internal connectors in the griddle's socket. You push the probe straight in, not at an angle. Inspect for Obstructions Sometimes, debris or manufacturing residue may be present in the socket or on the plug: Unplug the unit from the wall outlet. Inspect both the plug and the socket on the griddle for any debris, bent prongs, or manufacturing material that may be blocking the connection. Wipe the connection area gently with a dry cloth if needed. Check the Plug Type Make sure you're using the original Oster&reg; temperature control plug that came with your griddle. Third-party or incorrect model plugs may not fit correctly and could be unsafe.
