Rated 4 out of 5 by Jenno227 from Easy to clean!!! This waffle maker made terrific waffles and didn't need all the features of more expensive models. You are able to make waffles as crispy or as soft as you want, which came in handy with my sons who never agree on anything. We tried making several different recipes that were included in the instructions. The chocolate waffles were a big hit. The clean up was much easier than expected which will mean I will actually use this more than once. It takes a few tries to make the waffles without having the batter spill down the sides. Rated 2 out of 5 by Thornematthew from Waffle maker experience I was really excited to get a waffle maker however my satisfying experience was short lived. I was highly disappointed because unfortunately the waffle maker started to stick after about a week even after you clean the grids and spray before you put the batter in. Even though your motto states legegendary performance and designed to last however, it “lasted” only about a week and not only did it now stick but one side is always cooked for that the other side. With that said I really do hope that this companies future produce are more improved for better business because I really did like the waffles while it lasted. Thank you for your time in reading my concerns.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Hungry from Is not no stick! After many, many trials, i finally made a good waffle, but it still had to be pried off of the top to remove it. I saturated both top and bottom of grill with oil which makes a mess to clean up. Too many heat settings - need instructions as to how hot AND how long to cook. Can't go by steam. I had an old waffle iron for years and never had a sticking problem. Definitely doesn't work witout lots of oil.

I use a lot of the recipes that came with it & have used others that I've found. I can always count on good fresh Waffles that I can make soft or crispier because you can adjust the beat. If I ever have to buy another waffle maker it will definitely be another Oster! I came back to this site to look for another recipe & saw a false comment so wanted to make sure people knew the truth about this product!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed Grandma from Disappointed I bought this waffle maker because my other Auster finally died after 30 years I bought it in June 2022 I didn’t get a chance to use it until today my grandchildren wanted waffles with the old one I used to be able to do that every time they came over so then I’m making the waffles and the first one doesn’t cook so I think it’s just me and I tried another one and the same thing undercooked didn’t color it was raw now it’s October and I won’t be able to return it even though I just opened it today. And my grandchildren said it’s OK Mimi will have pancakes instead

Rated 4 out of 5 by Krista from Wonderful Waffle Maker As soon as I got my waffle maker I was stoked to give it a try. I cleaned her up and plugged her in. As she was heating up I began to smell something like burning plastic. Upon further inspection, it was indeed melting the plastic that they wrapped the wires in, in the back of the maker. After we figured out what was wrong with it we plugged her back in and warmed her up again. This waffle maker makes amazing waffles. You can make one in just under 4 minutes but they are huge. They come out of the maker very easily with virtually no cleanup when you are done. I would absolutly suggest to anyone if you want a cheap and easy waffle maker that this one is it. Just watch out for those wires. I was given this waffle maker as a sample to review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Christalnsc from Great compact waffle maker The Oster Belgian waffle maker is easy to use. it has a ready light that comes on when the correct temperature has been reached. it has multiple temperature settings but I have only used it on high and had great results with nice fluffy waffles. It is compact and easy to store and it seems very sturdy. I think this waffle maker would be a great gift for a college student or newlyweds. I received this waffle maker as a sample in exchange for an honest review. All statements and opinions are solely my own.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sunday Waffle from Not good Our Black and Decker finally gave in after five years of use. We routinely make waffles from scratch every Sunday. The Oster does not cook evenly. The bottom cooked faster than the top. Also, the top brown faster in the center than the parameter. We were hoping there is a burn in period but after three Sundays, the results were all the same unevenly cooked. WE decided to returned.
