In just a few weeks I have made several loaves of bread and used the dough setting to make a challah. This machine is so multifunctional and helps me multitask. It is great to throw ingredients into the pan in the AM and come home to warm bread. I don't have to watch it. I know I will come home to perfect results every time. The recipe book included is motivating enough to get you started the recipes are easy enough that you can't make a mistake. Would definitely recommend. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and makes yummy bread.

Rated 5 out of 5 by wally1 from Great Bread Machine This bread machine is awesome. I made several loaves on this using the French bread setting and the Sweet Bread setting. I was very easy to program and by following the recipe in the manual (included), the bread was perfect. The footprint of this machine is great - because of the smaller size, it doesn't take up much space on the counter or cabinet. It has so many different setting that make if fun to try new and different breads - with ease. The Gluten-Free setting is a real plus if you are wanting to make good tasting gluten free bread. Easy clean up and great fresh bread. This machine was received for the purpose of reviewing the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jencat from Consistent (and delicious) results The Oster bread maker is amazing. I never thought a bread maker could be so fun and so easy to use. It is easy to get started. In a few weeks I have made 5 loaves of bread and one challah dough to bake in the oven. It has a great recipe book to get you started. The steps are clearly laid out so you can't mess up. It's so multifunctional; but also helps me multitask. I love something I don't have to watch. It is great to throw ingredients in the machine in the AM and by lunchtime you have fresh bread. It even keeps the bread warm for you. I wish it had a slightly smaller footprint as I keep it out all the time. Other than that, I would recommend because it is consistent; cleans up easily, and makes delicious bread.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bakerdee from 22 year old Oster Express Bake I have had an Expressbake machine since 1999 and I have to say that it is a workhorse. I wish it had the Gluten Free, cake and jam programs but for bread and dough it is amazing. If the durability of any of the newer models are anything like this one, I would highly recommend it. I would love to try and review the newer models but I have no reason to get rid of the one I have. Thank you Oster for a fantastic product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Russ Johnson from Makes perfectly edible bread. This oster 2 lb breadmaker machine is a fine machine. For me, the price was perfect, as I received it at no cost for reviewing purposes. I didn't use the gluten free setting, but it made absolutely edible bread for my family and I am by no means a professional. My sister-in-law borrowed it to make beer bread and did complain that she didn't get the thick, dark crust that she prefers. I found this only a little telling as my wife had a similar complaint of the first two loaves she and I baked. However I'm fine w/ a light and fluffy crust. All in all, I'm happy w/ it and can't complain in the least.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dhlwoodstock from Easy to use, easy to clean and makes great bread I received this product to test. I never knew making bread was so simple and could be so delicious! I was surprised at how easy it was. Just add the ingredients, set the machine and it did all the work! I liked the see through window so I could watch each process. My bread came out great! It was soft in the center with the perfect crust. I gave this 5 stars because it was very easy to use, looks nice, very easy to clean, and makes great bread. It also has other options for jam, pasta and dough so it's multifunctional.

This machine took less that 20 minutes to mix ingredients and put them into the machine to start. A few simple buttons and it was ready to go. The instructs were clear and even included a few common recipies to get started with. Since receiving this bread maker a week ago I have already made over a dozen loaves of bread of different varieties for myself and my friends. They also have a gluten free function that I was able to use!
