Bread Maker with Gluten-Free Setting did not exceed your expectations and that the wheat setting isn’t mixing. This is certainly not the experience we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help. Some Oster® bread makers have a Wheat delay time of 15 or 30 minutes. This delay allows for a period at the beginning of the cycle to "soften" the ingredients for better results. During the first 15 or 30 minutes, the machine does not mix, but the time will cycle down. Hope this information is useful. Have a great day!

This is certainly not the experience we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help. Sometimes the breadmaker pan will be engaged tighter than it was when placed into the breadmaker when cycles are started. This is caused during normal operation. To get the pan out of the breadmaker, please follow these steps: 1. Make sure the bread maker and pan are cool. If it is warm, please use an oven mitt. 2. Grasp the handle of the bread pan and pull straight up or if your pan twists, twist pan clockwise and pull up. You may find a little force is needed to get the pan out. Thank you for contacting the Oster® brand. We value your continued support of our products and we’d be glad to answer your question about your bread maker. If your bread in your bread maker is not brown enough, this is usually the result of repeatedly lifting the lid of the bread machine or leaving the lid open while the bread is baking. Thank you for contacting Oster® Brand. You may use the recipe below in making a sourdough bread. INGREDIENTS: 1 cup sourdough starter, you must have a starter available 3⁄4 cup water, warm about 110F 1 tablespoon sugar 1 tablespoon active dry yeast (not rapid rise yeast) 3 cups bread flour 3 tablespoons oil 2 teaspoons salt DIRECTIONS: 1. Put first 4 ingredients in bread machine and stir gently. 2. Let sit for about 10 minutes. Starter should start to bubble a little. 3. Add flour, then spread oil and salt evenly over the flour. 4. Select basic course or following custom settings if your bread maker has them: 5. Preheat - 20 Minutes ( I start cycle after mixing first four ingredients then add remaining three ingredients after ten minutes), Knead - 20 minutes, Rise1 - 40 minutes, Rise2 - 40 minutes, Rise3 - OFF, Bake - 58 minutes Medium or Dark crust setting ( I use medium), Keep warm - OFF. 6. Check a few minutes into kneading and add flour or water as needed to get a just slightly tacky dough that sticks to your fingers like a strong post it note and stretches smoothly without tears when kneading. Sourdough bread dough is a little gloopier then regular white bread. Have a great day!

Hey there! We're glad you've asked. Grasp the handle of the bread pan and pull straight up or if your pan twists, twist pan clockwise and pull up. You may find a little force is needed to get the pan out.

Oh no! That is definitely not the kind of experience that we want you to have. Our bread makers were made with the highest quality materials and we expect them to last. We aim to provide great quality products and we'd like for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and get the product's full benefit. please follow these steps in adding up the nuts/raisins: 1.Attach the kneading blade in the bread pan. 2. Place ingredients into the bread pan except the raisin/nut 3. With finger, make a small indentation on one side of the flour. Add yeast to indentation, making sure it does not come in contact with the liquid ingredients. 4. Then sprinkle raisin/nuts onto flour. Hope this helps!
