The Oster® 2-Slice Touchscreen Toaster with Easy Touch technology toasts your bread to perfection. The intuitive interface is incredibly responsive, and lets you program toasting with a single touch. A digital countdown timer shows your toast's progress and counts down the time remaining in the toasting cycle so you will know exactly when it will be ready to enjoy. This touch screen toaster has 6 toast shade settings, with a toasting shade for every taste. This 2-slice toaster has 3 different functions including Bagel, Reheat, and Frozen. The Bagel function delicately toasts your bagel to perfection. Reheat lowers the slice back into the slots to reheat without re-toasting. Frozen lets you defrost your bread before toasting. This Oster toaster also features a quick-check lever that elevates food to check browning throughout the toasting cycle without interruption and helps easily remove toast when it's done. It also includes a removable crumb tray for easy cleaning.

Care & Maintenance

Cleaning Your Toaster • After use and before cleaning, unplug wall plug and wait for toaster to cool. • Wipe the outside of toaster with a damp cloth and dry with another cloth or paper towel. Do not use abrasive cleaners. CAUTION: Do not immerse in water or any liquid. • To avoid damage to toaster heating elements, do not use any pointed or sharp articles for cleaning the inside of the toaster. • CAUTION: Empty the crumb tray frequently. Crumbs will accumulate in the crumb tray and could catch fire if not emptied periodically. When the toaster has cooled down completely, tap the sides of the toaster lightly to dislodge any crumbs caught in the toaster chamber, remove the crumb tray and empty it. Wipe the tray clean with a damp cloth or place it in the top rack of your dishwasher for cleaning. Tap sides again to ensure proper disposal. Return crumb tray back into the toaster before using again.

I’m in my late 60’s, almost legally blind, I cannot see the functions on our older 2 toasters anymore but I sure can on this roaster! I did not experience any of the negative complaints that I read about this toaster, like a person who could not get the lever to stay down. Of course not, the toaster has to be turned in first and darkness setting or function selected first! The default setting is 4 which is perfect for me, a light touch on 5 is perfect for my 73 year old husband, and a light touch on 3 is perfect for our 16 year old granddaughter who we’re raising. Perfect toast on both sides every time, even more so than either of our older toasters! To use the bagel function for bagels or English muffins, the cut sides have to face each other and the bagel setting touched lightly. Perfect bagels and English Muffins, better than in either of our other toasters. I took 2 slices of bread out of the freezer to try this setting which turned out perfectly. I’m astounded! Our older 2 toasters also have this feature but the result isn’t as good as in this toaster! Phenomenal!!! I put 2 slices of toast in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to try out the reheat setting. Perfectly warmed toast! And this toaster works so fast, in only half the time as our other 2 toasters when I tried them all at the same time. There are no knobs to turn and I love that because my knuckles lock and my muscles in my hands go numb when I use our other 2 toasters. My 73 year old husband went ballistic when this Oster touch screen toaster was delivered to our home because this is our 3rd working toaster, but when he watched this Oster touch screen toaster in action, he immediately changed his mind, and he told me, “I’m very glad that you bought this, it’s now my favorite toaster!” Wow, I’m amazed! Oster, you’ve outdone yourself again! This toaster is definitely worth the cost that we paid for it full price from a retailer. My husband and I absolutely strongly recommend this toaster for everyone!

I also like how it grips your toast when lowered so bread doesn't fall to one side. It also has a removable crumb tray. Happy with my purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nick207 from Great unit, touch buttons could be a lot brighter Pleasantly suprised with the quality of this toaster! It was replacing an older oster model. Unit is very sleek, touchscreen works perfectly, and it toasts quite well. Better then you'd expect. 1 downside, unfortunately, is the touch buttons are not very bright, if you have multiple lights on in your kitchen and/or it's daytime it is a little difficult to see, I wish you could adjust the brightess. Or simply just make the buttons illuminate brighter.

Not true, I ended up returning this and bought another brand with bagel setting and it toasts only the one side of the bagel. Never heard of True bagel setting before, I guess oster made it up to suit them.

It’s been doing it since the very first use and I only have it on setting 3. I can’t understand why and how to make it stop.

Why didn't you use normal screws? You don't even get the tool when you buy it.

Also, the toaster must be plugged into a direct wall outlet and have power running to it, otherwise, the lever will not stay down.
