Description
The Oster® 4-Slice Touchscreen Toaster with Easy Touch technology toasts your bread to perfection. The intuitive interface is incredibly responsive, and lets you program toasting with a single touch.
A digital countdown timer shows your toast's progress and counts down the time remaining in the toasting cycle so you will know exactly when it will be ready to enjoy. This touch screen toaster has 6 toast shade settings, with a toasting shade for every taste.
This 4-slice toaster has 3 different functions including Bagel, Reheat, and Frozen. The Bagel function delicately toasts your bagel to perfection. Reheat lowers the slice back into the slots to reheat without re-toasting. Frozen lets you defrost your bread before toasting.
This Oster toaster also features a quick-check lever that elevates food to check browning throughout the toasting cycle without interruption and helps easily remove toast when it's done. It also includes a removable crumb tray for easy cleaning.

Care & Maintenance
Cleaning Your Toaster
• After use and before cleaning, unplug wall plug and wait for toaster to cool.
• Wipe the outside of toaster with a damp cloth and dry with another cloth or paper towel. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
CAUTION: Do not immerse in water or any liquid.
• To avoid damage to toaster heating elements, do not use any pointed or sharp articles for cleaning the inside of the toaster.
• CAUTION: Empty the crumb tray frequently. Crumbs will accumulate in the crumb tray and could catch fire if not emptied periodically. When the toaster has cooled down completely, tap the sides of the toaster lightly to dislodge any crumbs caught in the toaster chamber, remove the crumb tray and empty it. Wipe the tray clean with a damp cloth or place it in the top rack of your dishwasher for cleaning. Tap sides again to ensure proper disposal. Return crumb tray back into the toaster before using again.

Nice - BUT SCREEN IS TOO DIM
Nice looking Toaster, seems to work well.. AS MANY customers have reported, with very little light in a room the touch screen is almost unreadable....if there is a light on or it is during the daytime it is almost impossible to read. The TOUCH screen DOES NOT LOOK ANYTHING like the images on they s OSTER sight or advertisements. Once you make selections the selections are lit up very well. and the remaining selections are dime, as you would expect. BEFORE you make your selections it is almost impossible to read the touch screen - too dim.

Controls are very dim
Just received our new toaster today. Oster OTST-DGTSSS4S.
We ordered this touchscreen product and was not happy with the display brightness. After reviewing information on the Oster website and reading the manual, we found no way to increase the brightness level. While we liked the idea of the touchscreen, we are surprised the lack of ability to adjust the screens brightness. Most products have the ability to set screen brightness. We will need to return this product since we cannot easily use the control panel.

Perfect Toast
So after a couple weeks of using this product I needed to write a review about it. The 4 Slice Oster Digital Touchscreen Toaster will be a perfect addition to your home like it has mine. This toaster has everything you could ever need or want I. One unit. It holds up to 4 slices, has a touch screen where you are able to choose the time you want, the type of item your toasting - bread, waffles, Bengals etc. and has several setting like reheat and frozen. The crumb tray is a nice addition and the toasters design is beautiful. I love this toaster and would recommend it to everyone.

The 4 Slice Oster Digital Touchscreen toaster with easy touch technology is very sleek looking. It’s super easy to use. Everything is self explanatory and lights up on the front of it. I like that it has the timer on the front so you can clearly see how much longer it has. That alone is worth it! Lol. It keeps my kids from constantly popping it up to check. It has three preset functions on the front. We regularly use the bagel one and our bagels come out perfect. We are NYer’s and love our bagels! This is most definitely the best toaster I’ve come across. We all love it!

Great Features!!
I have been using the Oster Digital Touchscreen Toaster for a couple of weeks. I really like the black and Crome along with the touchscreen interface. The screen shows you a countdown timer of the time remaining. It has six toast shade settings along with bagel, reheat and frozen options. Has a easy to clean removable crumb tray on the bottom. This looks great sitting on my kitchen counter.

Oh I am so addicted of using this toaster! Can you imagine a touchscreen toaster? Plus a 4 piece toast in one time?! Isn't that amazing? Our life could never been easy since we replace our old toaster. It has so many features and easy to navigate, it only takes just one click. Easy to clean as well, plus there's and option for frozen foods which is a plus. Definitely highly recommended!

Not your ordinary toaster
This toaster is the Cadillac of all toasters. This thing has features you didn’t know you needed until you have them. No more guessing how much longer til the toast is done, it has a count down feature for you. The all digital push button display makes selecting a function easy. Three toasting modes to choose from, Reheat, Frozen & Bagel. The reheat feature does just that, warms it up without scorching the bread. Frozen ? Frozen mode actually defrosts first then toasts, now your kids can toast their toaster strudels to perfection! And lastly Bagel, allows for even the largest bagels to fit . Easy clean out trays makes for quick clean up. The only thing that would make this toaster better would be 2 more slots ! Overall it’s great and I never knew I needed or wanted the extra features til I had them.

Touchscreen toaster
The 4 slice Oster digital toaster is sleek and stylish on my countertops. I love being able to make four slices of toast at once. I also love how sleek and clean the design is since there are no buttons to adjust the temperature. It allows you to toast bagels and toast as well as other items at the touch of the screen. It also allows you to adjust cooking time from 1 to 5 minutes again with just the touch of the screen. The digital screen also makes cleaning up a breeze.

Fantastic Toaster
This sounds strange to say about a toaster, but this is the best toaster I’ve ever owned.
It is a digital touch screen toaster. The display isn’t on until you touch it, so it looks really nice and sleek. Has multiple toaster settings and shows a countdown so you know when it is almost done. Stays on the setting you last used and is extremely consistent at producing the same amount of “toastiness”. Has a crumb tray that makes it easy to clean. Can’t recommend it enough.

Works wonderfully and looks nice too!
This toaster has all of the options one might want in a toaster and looks elegant too. My mother was intimidated because it looked too "techie" for her, but once I showed her that by touching the blue circle all the "normal" options lit up and it was just a touch screen she was impressed. 6 settings for levels of cooking; bagel, frozen and reheat settings too. Option for lifting toast/bagel to check level of doneness without resetting cooking cycle is a nice option.

Can't read the LED screen
The LED display is so dim it's practically unreadable. My wife had problems with her vision and will not be able to use this toaster. The ads and photos of this toaster make it look like the LED screen is reasonably bright, almost like an iPhone or iPad, but it is not even 1/10th that bright.
I thought there might have been a way to brighten the controls, but the Oster product support folks have been assuring the many complaints that nothing can be done about it.

Best toaster ever!
I absolutely love my 4 Slice Oster Digital Touchscreen toaster with easy touch technology!!! It is fun and super easy to use! Just push the power button and it is ready to go! It has so many great features! You can select the level of darkness. There are buttons for bagels, frozen and reheat. All work perfectly. It even shows the toasting progress! I have never had a better toaster, I am thrilled with it and I highly recommend! Wonderful technology.

Use it daily
I have been utilizing this 4 slice digital touch screen toaster a lot. I had a basic 2 slice cheap one before so this is a huge step up. It fits right in on my counter top and matches my other stainless steel appliances. It is touchscreen and is very responsive, I don’t have to keep pressing the options repeatedly which I like because tech can be glitchy. I like having the personalized option with the levels of toasty-ness and also types of toasting. I actually keep my bread frozen so having an actual FROZEN option satisfies me. The levers are easy to operate and don’t get stuck. Everything comes out perfect with no reheating needed. It has two separate crumb trays under each 2slot area so it makes it easier to clean up. The toaster is nice enough to keep displayed on the counter but is also easily storable. I haven’t had any issues with it and it’s been great using it. Having 4 slots really helps when feeding a family of 5. Cuts the time in half. Nice high quality toaster.

Half of screen only work/no visible power button
I bought this 2 months ago and I did notice that the on/off power button wasn’t lit up. Didn’t think anything of it. My partner as of today(Jan.17/24) used the right side of the toaster and couldn’t cancel the right side as no frozen/bagel/cancel option on the right side. Had to use the “hidden” power button. Can’t upload pictures as I’m using an iPhone(sorry) I’ll try after this is posted.

Futuristic Look!
I love the way this toaster looks. Instead of the standard knobs that you would use to set the cool settings, it’s an LED touchscreen panel. So far it has been great. It cooks really fast in relation to other models. Only downfall I have found is that when you click the bagel setting, it still cooks the whole thing. It won’t cook on just one side. Aside from that, it’s been fantastic.

I am totally in love with this toaster! I am a really big tech person so when I saw that this had touch screen technology, I was very happy! It’s very sleek design looks so great in my kitchen and the touch screen was easy to work! It made me some great toast and I am very happy with it! Digital world meet toast
This was so easy to use. I really like this much better than the traditional toaster. The bright color light allows you to clearly see everything. This is perfect for the people that have to get up while it is still dark out and don't want to wake the household with lights going on. The settings are true to what you are looking for on that perfect toast!

Pricey disappointment
Toaster does not brown bread, or bagel. The bread is as white at #6 as it was out of the wrapper. And, that goes for both sides of the toaster. The front panel is so dark I need a flash light to read which setting to chose. Something is definitely wrong with this product. Given the high cost I just assumed it was a quality product, wrong thing to do ….

Touch Screen is Inexcusably Dim
The touch screen is SO dim as to be utterly unusable except in a dark room. This is 100% inexcusable and 100% avoidable. That's why I'm knocking 4 stars off of my review of what COULD be a great toaster. Did some Climate Cult member decide they were going to "save the planet" by eliminating one or two nanowatts of energy consumption? FIX THIS!!!

I love this toaster it has great features like being able to reheat, check the progress of how my bread is toasting, and 6 different toast settings! It is not wide on my counter top but it holds 4 pieces of toast so I can’t complain. Overall this is a wonderful toaster and it looks so modern and sleek.

Really nice and fancy toaster! Offers 4-slices with two per options settings in the touch screen. There is 6 levels of toasted and offers a bread or bagel option and a 30 second reheat button. Only thing it’s missing is a clock display.
