Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst knife ever I bought from Target and used it for the very first time and motor stops and and goes constantly .it's also hard to hold I had to use 2 hands. the blade wiggles I tried to use it. i stopped several times to see if the blade was in properly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not useable by anyone We had an Oster model 2800 electric knife for at least 7 years, to slice the bread I made every 3 weeks, also the occasional turkey. Worked great until recently, I assumed Oster still made an excellent knife so I bought a new one, the "Oster® Electric Knife with Carving Fork & Storage Case". I noticed it was different !! On/Off switch on the bottom, blade release on the top, heavier in weight. Slicing bread I accidentally pushed on the eject button. When I was done my wrist ached from the angle I had to hold the knife in. Well, this "Oster® Electric Knife with Carving Fork & Storage Case" is going back to the store; it is both unsafe and uncomfortable to use. Hey Oster, was this "Oster® Electric Knife with Carving Fork & Storage Case" tested in the real world, on a kitchen counter ??

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor knife It is poorly designed as stated in prior reviews. The ejection is on top and you keep hitting it as you try to hold in the on button located on the bottom. The ham also went through between the blades. Sure not like my old one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poorly designed Unless you have small dainty hands don't buy this thing. The on/off switch is set into an area on the underside that's smaller than a fingertip and the blade release is where you need to put your thumb to get the leverage to push in the on button which stops the knife operation. When the blades move it will cut.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Design As almost everybody else here has said, the button to release the blades is on top right where you'd naturally hold when using it. The actual power button is awkwardly underneath. Besides that, on my second use of the knife, one of the blades is jammed into the knife and I cannot remove it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy throw it in the garbage!!! Unsafe!!! As mentioned in all the reviews previously the eject button is in the wrong place the handle is too big the blades do not stay attached it does not cut… but still $30 was spent, oyster got their money ,not a single mention of refund in any of the comments from zoster.. where is the responsibility from the Oster Company to the product.. you’re still selling and making money on us and Offering a canned apology for bad product.. this reflects on oyster as a whole. will not purchase any more products from them.. maybe you made $30 on this one from me but you have lost hundreds of dollars of future purchases.. this product has been out for at least two years and still you’re selling and making profit off it with no revisions.. do not give me another apology, offer me a refund.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Piece of Junk Bought this the day before Thanksgiving. Used it to cut the turkey. It stopped working halfway through. Motor runs but knifes won't move to slice. Waste of my money.
