My FPSTHMBGB-S hand mixer quit working in the middle of my making frosting. Ths mixer has not been used very much and had only a 1 year warranty. Any suggestions?

No worries, we are here to help. If your hand mixer is not working, it might be because the unit is not getting enough power from the wall outlet where it is currently plugged in or the wall outlet itself is a non working outlet. To remedy this issue, check if there is no physical damage on its cord and if there's none, try unplugging the hand mixer. Let the unit rest for 3-5 minutes. Afterwards, plug it into a different wall outlet. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the hand mixer's performance. Also, make sure that all parts and accessories are properly inserted. Otherwise, it might cause the product not to work properly. Your Oster&reg; 5 Speed Hand Mixer with Storage Case has a 1-year limited warranty. Why does one beater not stay in the mixer? Everything else fits and works. Only used twice and can only use one beater.

Thank you for contacting Oster&reg; brand. We are sorry to hear that you are having hard time ejecting the beaters from the mixer. No worries, we are here to help. Be sure speed control is at the &ldquo;OFF&quot; position and cord is removed from electrical outlet. Scrape off any excess batter with a rubber spatula. Grasp the stems of the attachments with your hand and press the beater eject button. Attachments will release into your hand. Have a great day!

How much does the mixer weigh? P.S. Thank you for specifying the mixer's cord length. P.S.S. I've bought and used your horse and dog clippers for years and love them. They work hard and have been problem free. Now with Covid, I'm using them on my hair!
