Several updated features make this handsome Oster digital electric griddle a must-have in any modern kitchen. Equipped with an extra-large 10 by 20-inch cooking surface, the unit offers generous space for whipping together crowd-sized batches of food - everything from eggs and bacon at breakfast to grilled cheese sandwiches, personal-size pizzas, hamburgers, hot dogs, and other family favorites at lunch or dinner. Furthermore, its nonstick cooking surface can be removed for effortless cleanup, and it requires less oil while cooking - which means healthier versions of grilled or fried dishes and sides. Large, cool-touch handles make the appliance simple to transport from the kitchen to the table without cumbersome potholders or oven mitts, and its skid-resistant feet hold the heating element safely above a countertop or sideboard to guard against burning or damage. Best of all, the griddle's digital temperature control sports both "ready" and "preheat" indicators for at-a-glance convenience while prepping ingredients for cooking. Accompanied by an extra-large drip tray that leaves work surfaces free from spills and messes, the digital electric griddle measures approximately 11 by 24 by 6-inch.

Rated 4 out of 5 by rspcoswal from Perfectly Fine for the Price I've read all these reviews about things sticking and I have no idea what they are doing. I've had this griddle for several years and never had a problem with anything sticking. I use oil or spray to be sure because I don't trust anything to be non-stick when used dry. There are only two problems with this griddle: 1. Heat distribution is good but not great. You learn the cooler spots very quickly and it is not like half the surface is cooler, more like 3 or 4 small spots. 2. My drip pan broke (after 4 years!) and there is apparently no way to replace it. That is disappointing because I don't want to replace this griddle.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Figman from Terrible Griddle!! This is the first review I have ever written. We purchased this griddle because of the removable cooking surface and the fact that it was advertised as a "nonstick" griddle. Even with a large amount of oil, EVERYTHING sticks! It's the worst griddle I have ever used. We wasted our money because today I'm throwing it out. I don't even want to donate it to the Good Will even though we've had it just a short time. We will think twice before we purchase an Oster product again. You should remove the word "nonstick." I would NOT recommend this to anyone.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Robert from Not a very good griddle I was given this griddle a few months ago for Christmas and it has been awful. First, the temperature cycles on and off similar to an oven, however, when it cycles off (or "ready" as it calls it) the temperature will often drop by as many as 100 degrees. In fact when you see "ready" it's actually the least ready it's going to be during the entire process as the aluminum surface loses heat very quickly. Basically when you set the temperature, you're merely giving the griddle a suggestion as to the temperature you'd like with no guarantee that it will actually ever get there (it might), or stay there (it won't). This causes several problems when trying to cook things like pancakes. It takes twice as long to cook them as it should. The detachable surface had a non-stick coating of some sort on it. However, after only a few months of use, typically twice a month, the coating is non longer effective. I will be donating this griddle to a local landfill as soon as I go out for the day.

Rated 1 out of 5 by bjwinfree from Worst Griddle Ever! I received this griddle as a replacement for another one that I had trouble with. Everything sticks to it from eggs, pancakes, bacon, etc. It is extremely hard to clean also. It is literally impossible to cook bacon and then pancakes immediately aftereward because of the horrible sticking problem. This is my third replacement with different models. They told me this is my last and will not replace it again. I think I should get a refund because this product is horrible!

Rated 1 out of 5 by kb7677 from Horrible I got my griddle for Christmas last year. Thought the highest about it until the so called "non-"stick" collected everything and by collected, I mean everything stuck to it even with oil. I decided to just stick with it until last weekend when the temperature decided it wanted to go down instead of up. I had it set at 400 and it was at 75 within 10 minutes. I was so disappointed I took it to the dumpster and threw it out. I have never had an issue with other griddles, this was just falsely advertised and waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mugs from Worst Griddle EVER! I bought this griddle and have used it only a few times. Even with the first use, everything stuck. This last time I used it, we were cooking french toast and you can see the imprint of the bread now, because I can't get it clean now. The first photo is before I cleaned it. The 2nd is after it was cleaned. Not to much difference. Will never buy an Oster product again!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dar W from Sounds great. Not so much Received this griddle as a birthday gift. My daughter LOVES pancakes and I wanted a griddle to make pancakes faster for her with easy clean up. This griddle takes longer to clean than it does to make a huge batch of pancakes for the family. There is nothing non stick about it despite following the start up directions and recomendations for care. Using extra oils, sprays etc does nothing. It's sad when you have to throw food away because it is a crumbled mess and undesirable to anyone to eat because it tore so badly from the lack of non stick. The features sound great but you won't find them in this specific product. I've had other great Oster products. This is not one of them. Very disapointed. It will be making its way to the garbage can. Sad since I've only had it a few months.

Rated 1 out of 5 by CharlieR from Sorry excuse for a griddle!! I was given the griddle by my kids. The non-stick surface is about as non-stick as a new, uncured cast iron skillet with no grease!! It is a total piece of c**p!!!
