Rated 4 out of 5 by mkkp from Overall good skillet. I liked this skillet. I liked that I can use it for frying and also bake in this pan. It's great that it has a warmer. I used this pan to cook a hotdish, then put it on the warmer setting while we ate. It kept it perfectly warm. We also made french toast and burgers with this. It cooks evenly and nicely. My only complaint is that the pan handle is very close to the handle on the base. When I was frying food and went to grab the handle on the base to hold it steady, I grabbed the pan handle by accident and burned my hand. That's quite a design flaw but other than that I enjoyed this skillet! I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RhondaR from More then a skillet I love so many things about this skillet. I think it is more then a skillet. The pan comes off the bace. This makes it easy to clean and fit in the dishwasher. You can also use the pan in the oven. Then put on bace on warm for a party to keep your baked dish warm. I love that it is so large. This is a food warmer, skillet, and baking dish with a lid, all in one. I plan on baking a dish in the pan,for thanksgiving and putting it on the warmer so it will be warm for the whole meal. I have found way more uses for this then a regular skillet. I was given this skillet as a sample to try. I am so glad I got this. There are so many uses for it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Amyb612 from New favorite small appliance Love this electric skillet! It's great for replacing a griddle or single dish meals and I love that you can put it in the oven to finish off a dish if needed. I've used it to make so many things for my family from pancakes and bacon to stir fry and chili-Mac and so many dishes in between. It's a great size and according to my husband (who does the dishes) it's really easy to clean. The heating seemed a little uneven the first couple uses but has since had no issues. I love that it heats up quickly and doesn't warm up my house as much as using the stovetop. I'm excited for using it In the summer months. **disclaimer: I received this product to sample **

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kinglis from Amazing product for the kitchen This is an excellent product with some great features. The skillet is a great size, but is not heavy asnd is versatile enough to cook nearly any type of meal with very easy clean up. The removable pan is also very convenient if your dish needs to go into the oven. Again the skillet is big enough to do large amounts of cooking, but the removable base is not so heavy that if you needed to put it in the oven, it's not too cumbersome. The skillet is well built with some great features. The heating element could use a bit more power which may help it maintain heat a little more evenly. Over all great product which I will continue to use! Disclaimer: I received this product for free as a product reviewer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Venezia from Great for a Quick & Easy Dinner! I've had this skillet for about 2 months now and I'm really enjoying it! I wasn't expecting for it to be as large as it is, but the size actually ended up being perfect!!! It was a little tricky at first trying to make sure that it was heating properly but once it got to cooking, IT GOT TO COOKING! I've made several different dishes in it and really enjoy the fact that I can put the dish in the oven to allow my food to brown a little before serving! Did I mention it's great for girl's night?! :-) Also it's really easy to clean and store!!! I absolutely love it! It has definitely been a God-Send for my family!!! :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by purpless from Great for picnic and family I received this sample to review. It was neatly packaged when it arrived. By looking at the appearance, I felt it is a high quality product and I was anxious to try it out. Even though by now I only used for a few times, but I feel the cooking surface is durable and long lasting. The temperature control knob provides variable temperature control. So it is pretty versatile from simmer to baking. This is a nice size skillet and very deep inside, perfect for cooking for family or on a picnic. But it's size makes storage a bit of a challenge. The glass lid fits nicely and has a hole for steam venting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by BettyJo from Non-stick surface pits and peels I bought this electric fryer about a year ago. Loved it! Then, the non-stick surface started peeling off about 6 months after almost weekly use. I thought it may have been because I would submerge it in soap and water to wash it. So, I bought another about 3 months ago. Used a hot, soapy rag to wash the skillet, never submerged it in water and never used anything except plastic utensils. Within a month the coating pitted and pealed around the edges. Not happy at all.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Sarah G from No replacement lids, don't even bother asking. I bought this skillet a few days ago, and the first day I used it, the lid unfortunately slid off the counter and shattered. That's my fault for being clumsy, no problem, I'll just call and buy a replacement lid, right? Wrong. The surly Oster rep implied that I was being unreasonable by even thinking that it might be possible to order a replacement lid. Apparently they don't exist. It would have been nice if the rep had at least been a bit sympathetic about it, but she actually made me feel bad for calling. And to think I selected this skillet over a cheaper one because I thought Oster was a good brand. I now have a brand-new, useless electric skillet.
